Publix Super Market at Hillwood Shopping Center

My second time visiting this Publix Super Market. My neighbor, whom I consider a friend, needed me to pick up her prescriptions. The service and staff were very helpful.

They have a great selection of items including international foods. Unfortunately they were out of yucca which is like a potatoe used in many Peruvian dishes. The place was nice and clean and the cashier's were friendly.

Great folks and fine groceries. The rare issues I’ve had have been taken care of quickly. Been going for years now. I cook almost all our family meals. Thank goodness for them.

I don't shop here often but every time I have it's been great all-around. The people are nice & helpful, store is stocked well & clean & the last time I went they even had (free) fruit for the kiddos to eat while shopping - which is really, really cool! Another mom told me about it. I had no idea that was a thing but I love it!

The Publix on Hillcrest and Cottage Hill is truly one of the best neighborhood supermarkets in West Mobile! It may not be the largest Publix in town, but it checks every box when it comes to convenience, cleanliness, and customer service. The store has everything you need — a full floral department, bakery, deli, seafood counter, sushi station, and meat department with fresh cuts from the butcher every day. The deli is especially good — the fried chicken is always fresh and crispy, and the famous Pub Subs are consistently on point. The seafood section is top-notch, and the meat counter is always well-stocked with great quality. Even without a salad bar or self-checkout, the experience here is smooth and efficient because they always have plenty of registers open. I rarely ever wait to check out, and the staff are always friendly, professional, and eager to help. It’s a clean, well-organized, and welcoming store — a true neighborhood gem for anyone in West Mobile. Highly recommend this Publix!
