Safeway

I live out of state. Tried to order flowers off the website was informed I needed to contact store. Was told by employee she didn't have a good stock currently and she could just give me prices over the phone that was not even close to the price online. Then she told me she was busy.

i had a cart full of food for purchase, but had difficulty understading thier "sale" price. there was an item that was "buy two get three free." when i got the register i didnt qualify. i said i didnt want the items but the clerk rang them up anyway. i refused to pay, so she took three of them off. i still refused to pay and left the store. i went to fed meyer and got about the same cart of items for 50 bucks less.

They may have self check out, but they still have several cash registers open. It is so nice. Not everyone wants to take the job away from the cashiers, plus when it's busy, they have enough people to help. There store is easy to find things as well if you can't theyvare more than happy to help, even walk you to the spot.

I like going into the Safeway the manager is hands on and he's compassionate and he made me feel accepting, we were standing in line and he came and got us to check us out his personally.

Called last weekend from Oregon in desperate attempt to have flowers delivered to a family members funeral. Was told they were doing a wedding and couldn't talk right now but they would call be back in a few hours. If I didn't get a call back then I should call them back. Never received a call back. Had i waited to see if they could even help me i would've never been able to get something to or family's funeral service. I manage a florist shop here in oregon and we would NEVER treat a customer this way.
