This is one of my favorite Safeways in all of phoenix. They have a great hot food section, deli, bakery. They're pre-made sushi is always pretty good. They have quite a large wine and alcohol section. The store is always very clean and very well stocked. I can usually find any kind of cheese that I want here as well as pre-made salads and appetizers
Bryan at Drive Up and Go is exceptional. He consistently goes the extra mile to be kind and courteous. When I expressed my appreciation for his enthusiasm while loading groceries in the 112-degree summer heat, he replied that he enjoys his job. It's so refreshing to see someone in customer service not only perform their job well but do so with a smile, and also appreciate and enjoy the company they work for! Additionally, all the Drive Up and Go employees here are always kind!
The best Safeway in town. Clean, incredibly well-stocked, employees are friendly and knowledgeable. This is the only Safeway we shop at if we can help it.
My favorite Safeway location for many reasons they have a great butcher and meat department, but the real reason I go is for their deli and imported cheese department. They gave an enormous selection of gourmet cheeses and deli meats with a great selection of meats and cheeses like Kretschmar, Primo, and Safeway select. The deli staff is friendly and eager to help. They also have a wonderful bakery and bread selection.

I also appreciated the convenience of their catering trays, which are perfect for gatherings. With the summer heat, I was delighted by their extensive selection of frozen treats. They carry everything from classic ice cream flavors under their Signature SELECT brand to healthy options like Open Nature Salmon Sockeye Fillet. It's a great place to stock up on refreshing treats for the whole family. The store is clean, well-organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They even have an in-store butcher and bakery, which adds to the convenience. The operating hours (6 AM to 10 PM daily) make it easy to fit a visit into my busy schedule. Overall, this Safeway location provides excellent service and a wide range of products, making it my go-to grocery store in the area. Highly recommend!
