I had to write a quick review of Flowers of Joy. I ordered flowers for a friend and they took my order over the phone, offered options and helped me. There was no problems. I would choose flowers of Joy for a flower delivery or florist in Concord, CA. Thank you.

Don’t order from this florist. If I could I would put 0 stars. I ordered a beautiful fall arrangement to be delivered on my mother’s birthday that falls on Thanksgiving week. The arrangement that my mother received was nothing like what I had ordered. When I reached out to the owner, they said since this was for a birthday “that they thought this would work because it was a birthday” that they could change and substitute the flowers. It’s one thing to substitute flowers in an arrangement that stills follow the same theme of the arrangement. I understand it says substitutions on their website. In this case the arrangement looked completely different. I was offered a 17% refund and a sorry we are out of town now. I wanted my mother to have a beautiful Thanksgiving fall arrangement for her birthday as she was also hosting Thanksgiving at her home. See picture of what I ordered and what was actually delivered. First picture was what I ordered and second is what was delivered. Talk about false advertising. 👎👎 Not impressed with your reply to my review. I requested a fall arrangement. And it happened to be my mother’s birthday. I did not request a birthday arrangement. However I wrote Happy birthday on her card you provide and your business took it upon yourself to say it was a combination of a birthday arrangement without my request. Also when you said I requested an early delivery. You seem to have missed some of the details that were exchanged in our conversation. You said it would no problem, not mentioning that you would be terribly busy. You said and I quote “it’s no problem we have all our deliveries out by noon.” So it definitely didn’t seem like you were going out of your way to take this order. I also want to add, that my mother reported that the flowers delivered seemed old and the water was also cloudy and needed to be replaced right away. You also did offer a 17% refund and then also offered a full refund however you ghosted me in all my attempts to contact you via text as that was how we were communicating. You never responded to any of my texts as you claimed that I would receive my full refund within 7-10 business days. However I got no refund. Additionally the fact that you’re suggesting that I’m mentally ill and unhappy is down right insane. What we need to suggest is you’re a terrible business owner and if you didn’t have the proper flowers to make the arrangement that was ordered your business should have contacted me about the substitution having NO fall theme whatsoever. Get a grip and just accept that you’re in the wrong and you did this customer dirty as you were pretty gung-ho to get out of town for the holiday as you stated to me “that there was nothing you could do to help as you were already out of town for the holiday. Which I also suspect that your used left over flowers in your case that were already on the way out to get rid of. Here’s a tip, don’t false advertise on your website for holiday arrangements if you can’t fulfill those orders. I’ve decided to report your business to the Better Business Bureau.

Absolutely thrilled with my order! The flowers were stunning—fresh, vibrant, and arranged exactly like the photo online. Delivery showed up early, which was a pleasant surprise, and everything was handled with care. I spent $100 and honestly couldn’t be more satisfied—it was worth every penny. My wife was over the moon and kept saying how gorgeous the bouquet was. It's rare that something looks as good in person as it does in pictures, but this florist nailed it. Highly recommend! The flowers were beautiful; however, they totally messed up the card, and my sister in law was left befuddled as to who these were from. They signed it "Jennifer" (nobody calls me that), and they misspelled her name. It's not that hard to print out the message I had filled out (as they said they would do).

We’re pleased with the service that this florist provided. Ordered on the phone on a Sunday and they were able to deliver the same day. I spoke with Beth who was very helpful. Their website noted delivery for the next day, but I just called the line and they were able to accommodate 🙏🏼 The presentation and the quality of the flowers were consistent with the photos on the website. They even bagged the candle so it looked like a nice present. I would use this florist again and highly recommend 👍🏽
