I have been a HUGE fan of Cattails Florist for many years and likely have spent thousands of dollars in this fine florist! They make exceptional arrangements with care and quality. My wife always has a smile on her face when she gets arrangements from Cattails. Today I walked into the store to purchase a purple Orchid. I found the perfect one. As I was checking out I jokingly asked "Does a Frequent Flyer like me get a Valentine's Day discount for my wife?" I hardly expected to get a discount as flowers are always at a premium during V-day. Whomever was packing my Orchid threw a cold, stern and seemingly condescending look at me coupled with a blunt "NO". I could see the cashier was awkwardly looking on I made light of the situation and said "Are you sure?". All the while smiling. I once again got another stern look. I felt badly and a little sheepish. Today, Cattails lost me as a customer. I will never return to their shop. People never forget how they were made to feel. Good bye Cattails! We will miss your flowers but I will not miss who packed my purple Orchid today at 3:30pm on Jan 30.
Joan and her team do fabulous work! I was able to place our order over the phone and they provided exactly what we were hoping for. Beautiful flowers. Classic, timeless appeal. They even went above and beyond and delivered to a forwarding address for our recipient (as they were in the process of moving and I wasn’t aware/hadn’t provided a new address). Definitely would highly recommend Cattails!
