Ralphs

I will never understand how this store is able to kneecap what built-in brand quality Ralphs has. This particular location is limited by its comparatively smaller square footage. The employees seem jaded and are unhelpful or glib when asked for assistance, if you can find one. And they have just recently reduced their hours yet again. They used to be open until 1, even during the lockdown. Now their weekday closing time is 11. What a waste.

While there is plentiful parking the store itself is cluttered with merchandise everywhere making moving around the store both tight and difficult. Carts were rusty and didn't roll smoothly. Also, the store is dark and uninviting.

Good layout, friendly staff. Only minor issue is the app sometimes doesn't read the QR codes on the daily digital deals. Otherwise, pretty much perfect.

Ralph's is a decent grocery store with higher end product and a decent selection. Considering the size of their stores. I would consider them upscale but not fancy in any way. Prices tend to be a little bit higher, but the stores also tend to be a little bit cleaner and a little bit better stocked. I prefer Ralphs to a saving Mark but I can afford it

Rude (and racist?) guy supervising the self check out at 8:30pm. Completely left a few seconds after I pressed for help on one machine. Waited a few minutes then moved to another machine because we had to meet someone. He came back when two other girls came to check out. I walked up to him to ask him a question and he ignored me both times I tried talking to him. Right after, he walked up to the machine right next to us and was very friendly and helpful to them. He maintained that service for another customer that went to check out. As we looked at the pet missing posters, the guy came out looked at us, made a face, then turned to another incoming customer. Again, very happy and friendly to this person. All in common, white. We are hispanic. Great service to white customers, probably not so much other groups.
