Emerald & Ivy Plant Boutique and Event Florals

We hired Emerald and Ivy to do the flowers at our wedding, and they did a fantastic job! As you can see from the pictures, the flowers were absolutely beautiful. Mishele was very accommodating of our requests and understood our vision. She also prepared two beautiful pocket squares for us. Thank you Mishele!

What a terrible experience from start to finish. I literally just had my wedding last night and the florals arrived dead and did not include anything that was mentioned in my vision. This was the inspo picture and this is what I got. Mishele the owner is terrible at communication, has an attitude problem. I didn’t choose her to be my florist but came with the wedding venue. And it’s clear she doesn’t use fresh florals and reuses them for at least over a week as they are literally dead already and I just got married yesterday. Disgusting, I wouldn’t waste my time or money with this place or ever work with her again. She clearly doesn’t care about you vision as I asked what my florals would like look and she said my inspo picture and attached it and the pampas grass was a huge element to my wedding which was not included at all. The pricing is also so much more expensive than other florists and such poor quality. I tried to use one vendor since I thought it’d be easier, but even the cost of rentals was ridiculous, one tiered stand was $60 just to rent whereas I bought 6 for $80 on Amazon. Not to mention the added labor when everything was supposed to be included in the package. She’s greedy and just nickel and dimes you for everything. Brides, save your money and go to Allen’s florals. There’s a reason why they’re the #1 florist in San Diego.

E&I is the partner vendor for florals of wedgewood weddings la jolla so we ended up hiring her. Mishele is great to work with, very responsive, straight forward to talk to, she accommodates your needs and theme that you want to achieve. She also make reasonable suggestions and you can tell she had a lot of years of experience in the industry and different kinds of weddings and honoring traditions and different venues. The only down side for me is that i think they're overpriced but maybe because the effect of the bad economy too.. and also I won't have a visual for what the flowers will look like, for example the bouquet ended up so big since I'm petite and heavy for me, plus i wanted mostly ranunculus but i couldn't really see them... she did great overall though on the church florals, venue hex arch, the centerpieces, the bridesmaids flowers and flower girl! They're all so beautiful and fresh and well designed too.

My partner and I had the pleasure of working with Mishele and Emerald & Ivy as a part of our venue package with Cuvier Club in La Jolla. Mishele took special care to ensure that she delivered exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. Our planning was relatively straightforward and done mostly through Pinterest images and color palettes. Mishele also had a ton of patience when my fiancee and I decided that we wanted to change our color palette after about a month of discussion. She was very flexible and professional and we really appreciated how she responded to this unexpected change. The flowers looked absolutely gorgeous on the day of the wedding! Mishele really knocked it out of the park. We were so happy, and we got a lot of compliments about the arrangements. Thank you Mishele! We’re very grateful for your expertise and artistry.

I was so blown away by Emerald & Ivy's work at my wedding! Mishele and her team went above and beyond. It was like they could read my mind, and knew exactly what I wanted even more than I did. My bridal bouquet was STUNNING, and my MOH's bouquet was so beautiful and lush, she thought it was mine!
