I organized a company holiday event and booked a pressed flower workshop with Jodie — it was an amazing experience! She was incredibly prompt, clear in her communication, and so easy to work with throughout the planning process. The pressed flowers were beautiful, and everyone had such a great time creating their pieces. Our team left happy and inspired. Highly recommend Jodie for any event!
I absolutely loved working with Plant Box to preserve my bridal bouquet. The piece Jodie created is so much more beautiful than I anticipated. I appreciate how open and quick she is to communicate and gives us a draft to see how we like the arrangement. I definitely recommend Plant Box for any kind of flower preservation.
Jodie helped me preserve my wedding bouquet and it turned out great! The whole process was so seamless, from the initial consultation to her tips on how to preserve to drop off and pick up. She even did a couple of design mock ups for me with different styles based on what was in my bouquet, and I’m so glad she suggested the wildflower field one :) Would highly recommend working with her if you’re looking to preserve your florals and support a woman-owned small business in SF.
Just received my beautiful piece from Jodie. My beloved grandmother passed away and I wanted to have her funeral flowers preserved as a keepsake. The process was extremely easy and Jodie was incredibly helpful along the way to make my vision come to life. I couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out. You can tell how much care and effort she puts into each piece- in the design and even into packaging it carefully for shipping. I can’t wait to get married someday and have her preserve flowers from those special moments as well. I would highly recommend!!!
From the start, the experience was unprofessional. Jodie arrived over 40 minutes late to our scheduled drop-off appointment. When I finally entered her office, it was so small and disorganized that I second-guessed leaving my bouquet with her, but because she had reviews from other brides, I went against my gut and proceeded. At no point during that meeting did she inform me that some of my flowers could not be preserved. When the day came for my mock-up email, I received nothing. I had to follow up myself, and was told it would take “a couple more days.” When I finally received the mock-up, I realized she had discarded several of my flowers without notifying me. When I asked where the missing flowers were, she told me she didn’t need to disclose that information and was only obligated to include what she deemed salvageable. My only option to avoid having pieces of my bouquet missing was to pay an additional $36 — on top of the $680 I had already paid. To make matters even worse, I clearly told her I needed to pick up my order in person at her office (during one of the pickup times listed on her own website) because I was in the process of moving. She ignored this and shipped it anyway — to a house I no longer live at. When it comes to something as sentimental as a wedding bouquet, this entire experience was stressful, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. She disregarded my feelings, failed to communicate, and ultimately did only what she wanted to do. I was left unheard, disappointed, and unsatisfied. Thank you for your response. I want to clarify several points, as your reply does not reflect my actual experience. Arrival time: While I indicated I could wait, I was not informed that you would be more than 40 minutes late. I also live over an hour and a half away so I could not return back to San Francisco so I had no choice but to wait. This lack of communication caused unnecessary stress and confusion during drop-off. Workspace & expectations: I was never shown workspace photos beforehand, and the studio’s condition did not match the impression given online, which added hesitation in leaving my bouquet. Flower condition & missing flowers: At drop-off, I was never told that any flowers were fully shed or potentially unsalvageable. When I received the mock-up, several flowers were missing. I was told disclosure was not required and only what you deemed salvageable would be kept—different from how the situation is being portrayed now. I also was never sent emails asking what flowers were important when that’s a silly question. It’s my wedding bouquet all of the stems are important. Communication & timing: The mock-up was not delivered by the original date, and I only received it after following up, which added unnecessary stress. Additional charge: After discovering missing flowers, I was told the only way to avoid visible gaps was to pay an extra fee—after already paying $680. This felt unreasonable and pressured. Pickup vs. shipping: I clearly stated I would pick up my order in person. Despite this, the order was shipped to an address I no longer lived at, even though I told you prior to you shipping it out that I did not want it to be shipped out. Damaged final product & lack of response: The frame and preserved flowers arrived completely shattered. I immediately left a voicemail and sent photos via email, but you never addressed this issue. Instead, you responded publicly, seemingly to protect appearances, while ignoring my direct messages.
