A good friend organized a private introductory flower arrangement class for four as a Christmas gift. I knew it would be fun but had no idea how educational it would be. Sam, the owner of Floral Mint, led us through the process of how to put together a floral arrangement...demonstrating techniques, flower selection and artistic elements. She blew my mind when she had us cut our roses short and showed us a method for making them fuller. I learned so much and left with a lovely vase of flowers. The shop dog, Riggins, a completely adorable Golden Retriever, shook me down for the treats I had in my pocket (dog lovers will understand this). I will be back for flowers, another class and to shop the unique collection of maker items available for sale as well.

We hosted a wreath-making workshop at the Floral Mint and it was such a wonderful experience! Sam made it all so easy for everyone. She customized the festivities for us and it was a perfect place to celebrate a friend! The wreaths turned out gorgeous and she helped so much with those of us who are less than artistic. The shop was super cute and decorated all up for the holidays! Can’t wait to come back soon for a centerpiece workshop and for more shopping!
