Designs Inspired by You creates the most unique, beautiful flowers in Highlands Ranch. I have used the services of Lisa for years from prom flowers, to event florals, special gift bouquets, and hosted a party for friends where everyone made beautiful centerpieces under Lisa’s direction.
Lisa and Mac at DIY (Designs Inspired by You) are delightful, hard-working and enjoy serving their customers with their beautiful flowers. I stepped into their adorable store with a last minute need and they answered gorgeously! We had ordered a corsage with a different florist but that florist misplaced our order so I rushed into DIY’s adorable shop, had a fun conversation and was thrilled with what they created an hour later - an elegant orchid with simple yet perfect adornments. Lisa, the owner, has 40 years of florist experience and it shows. In talking with Lisa, they create floral arrangements for all events and weddings as well as host parties and classes. This small business is new to the Highlands Ranch area - let’s keep it local!
The arrangement I had delivered exceeded expectations, with vibrant and complimentary colors and wonderful attention to detail. They shared a photo of the arrangement before it left the shop, and the delivery was very timely. They were incredibly accommodating and kind, helping me out with a few last-minute adjustments. It’s so nice to have a florist who offers your general floral services AND classes/parties. I had the opportunity to join a pumpkin arrangement party today and had a blast! Lisa is truly an experienced and talented florist. She made arrangement making fun and broke it down so that instructions were digestible for a novice like me. I’m also very excited that there’s a florist near me where I can order flowers from (King Soopers flowers just doesn’t cut it sometimes, you know?). Yay for DIY!

This place was just what I was looking for and exceeded expectations! It’s an adorable little shop with even more lovely employees. Lisa and McKenzie were both so incredibly kind and helpful in getting exactly what I needed. They know their craft and immediately made me feel welcome and at ease. The flowers are still going strong even after a week! They even have some classes to teach flower arrangements. My wife loved them so much we’ll now be going to their class to learn from the masters.
