I'll admit, wedding flowers were not something I knew much about or had the words to describe what I liked or wanted besides "color" lol...But Shannon was able to understand my style and the energy of our wedding with just a few phone calls and photos. And I have to say, I was absolutely stunned at the beauty, color, creativity, and uniqueness of our wedding flowers, candles, pumpkins, and vases! I actually was brought to tears when they brought me my bouquet, it was absolutely gorgeous. My mother and I met with Shannon back in 2019 and instantly fell in love with her work and attention to detail. Our wedding was postponed a year due to the pandemic and Shannon was flexible and made the rescheduling process a breeze. Once planning picked up again, she was extremely responsive and truly excited that our big day was finally happening. I had a great planning meeting with Shannon and Alex where we went over every detail of the wedding, and they even showed me options for flowers, vessels, and lanterns so that I could be 100% confident in the design. The Olive and Poppy team are so creative and talented. On the wedding day they were prompt and efficient, and did a great job installing everything just the way that I wanted. Shannon was amazing to work with. I really struggled in the fact that I love lots of different colors, designs, textures. I was very specific, without actually knowing what I wanted. Shannon listened to me, and delivered the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen in my life. She also recommended Random Black at Have a Seat and recommended ways to decorate the venue. She was very cognizant of my budget and helped pick floral varietals that were in season. I cannot express how obsessed I was with my flowers on the day of our wedding. They were just like explosions of all different colors and varietals, while still cohesive with my mismatched pink bridesmaid dresses, Elliott's green suit, and the gray groomsmen suits. And Elliott's favorite flower was a thistle, which is blue! I mean... I was a client was a challenging client, with ADD and varied influenced by the changing trends on Pinterest and I really appreciated her time, patience, and vision. I highly highly recommend Shannon!
