King Soopers

The store is okay but the security is absolutely out of control. The obviously bored and arrogant security guard, was clearly making it obvious that he was with me every step of the way. His behavior was rude and disheartening - obviously meant only to encourage theft and/or vandalism with anyone who might be so inclined. The store would be much better overall without the absolutely out of control and consistently out of line, security team - most of which should be fired immediately.

Rachel in the floral department was wonderful and helped me so much today! I called to see if I could get a dozen latex helium balloons and she had them ready when I got there and even had them bagged up, which made it so much easier to get them home, and even helped me pick out a mylar balloon to go with them. Also, their flower selection was beautiful and at good prices so I bought some flowers too. Thank you Rachel and King Soopers!

There are just a couple of things I would work on here. The main one is a lot of times when you get there there are no shopping carts to take and you have to go into the parking lot and look for a cart. Other than that everything is great. Went to the king soopers on the 29 th street not so good at all.

Another reason to hate shopping at King Soopers. I went to the Northside location to buy pop and accidentally grabbed a single 16 oz 7up from the freezer at checkout, which rang up as a 6-pack. I avoided using the self-checkout and waited for customer service. I told her I had grabbed it by mistake from the freezer at one of the checkouts, but she gave me a very bad look. I left King Soopers and went to Walmart to buy pop, where I had a tiny issue with their self-checkout too. However, their customer service is a lot better than King Soopers. That's why I'm a loyal customer of Walmart and Safeway over King Soopers.

I have tried incredibly hard to understand the store. It has issues. But the one they can control without doubt is the security within the store. One of the officers at the front requested that a truck run over one of the homeless in the parking lot. This was reported to them 6 to 8 months ago and he's still there. Then you have the ones that smoke cigarettes outside the front door. Some of us don't like that. Should I move them down to the table. I think they said they had to be 10 ft away from the front door. I guess they don't understand about the wind and smoke travel and all that stuff. But my favorite of late, and I mean yesterday as I walk onto the sidewalk, one of security comes out and does a big giant spit right onto the sidewalk where we are getting ready to step in order to come into the store. I think they should pull up their camera and check it out.. I can give them the exact time. Who would want to go into a grocery store after watching a man, spit wash it up in his mouth and load spit. I walked in, grab my cart & my stomach about threw up. I turned around and walked out. Seriously? How much more trash can you possibly get. You control these security guards. You control the people that work for you. They are a statement on your store. That's just disgustingly gross and I cannot think of one other place this has ever happen in 66 years of my life. This is not acceptable behavior! This is not what actually is supposed to happen. This is not normal! Oh my God spit out your front door? Just disgusting, just disgusting. I don't understand why you would support such behavior in any way shape or form. This is not normal and I don't know why you think this is acceptable behavior.
