Wow this store has got soooooo much better in the past 6months! the manager and the spanish girl with the red hair i think her name is allisa are always nice to me and my kids and the staff is super friendly. i have been shopping here for 3 years now and the store is the best i ever seen it. keep up the good work and thank you for being a community store!

On October 24th, I had a very upsetting experience at this Dollar General location. While checking out, I was verbally assaulted and harassed by an employee named Alyssa because I told her that she was being very rude and disrespectful to customers. Instead of addressing the situation professionally or ensuring customer safety, the store’s response was to have me trespassed from the property. I was the one being mistreated and targeted by the employee, yet I was unfairly penalized. This experience left me feeling disrespected and discriminated against. No customer deserves to be treated this way, and I hope that Dollar General’s management will review this situation seriously, provide proper employee training, and ensure that customers are treated with fairness and respect. Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend this location to others.

I went there tonight and the ‘manger’ Kiera something I believe, was so rude and disgusting! Her behavior was absolutely distasteful. Talking about how she wouldn’t serve us because we didn’t take the items out the basket like what?!. This is a first time experience because usually the employees are the nicest and most understanding! She acting like someone forced her to work there giving attitude and all!!! Would not recommend and I strongly believe that the manager NEEDS to take action before that lady with her cheap wig drives out all the business 🙄!

HANDS! here! I HANDS! went to this store to SHOP and I bought a lot of things because the staff member who works there helped me find them. When I got to the cashiering station the cashier was very pleasant and helped me use the Dollar General Application on my cellular cell phone to make my purchase and I saved $14.50 so I went back and bought more things to make the FRENCHTOAST. I live in the Beacon Falls city of the CT Connecticut state, so to come to the Bloomfield city is a long drive, but I will be coming BACK to this store to shop at this location again and to buy more products. This is a 5 five star review. ok thanks!

I tried calling the store around 10:00 a.m. The phone rang many, many times until it put a busy tone. I tried several times within a half hour, same response. I realize being short staffed is difficult for any business but honestly, you can tell if someone really needs your help. Take a second. It's to bad, now Walmart will get my business and they deliver!
