The Woodwinds

We had our wedding at The Woodwinds this fall, and it was truly everything we dreamed of. The outdoor ceremony space was breathtaking surrounded by the fall colors — it felt magical. Our maitre d’, Sergio, was beyond amazing! He made sure every detail was perfect and that we were completely at ease the entire day. His kindness, professionalism, and care made such a difference. The food was incredible — our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! From start to finish, the entire Woodwinds team made us feel so supported and celebrated. We’re so grateful for all they did to make our wedding day unforgettable.

Update: Once again Woodwinds was excellent! Despite having to reschedule due to weather and less than ideal conditions the morning of our event, Woodwinds was so helpful, professional and had everything set up beautifully for us. Can't thank them enough! We love hosting events at Woodwinds! The staff consistently goes above and beyond to take care of us, year after year. The food is always delicious and plentiful, the bartenders are attentive (special shout-out to Lisa!), and our guests always have an amazing time. Highly recommend for any event!

My rating is for the staff. I was the coordinator and officiant for a wedding at Nuzzo’s farm. Jackie and Randy were absolutely amazing to work with. The two of them were so attentive to all the requests and everything that was asked of them. They executed the brides vision perfectly. They also did a magnificent job cleaning up and packing all the items as well as helping to pack our cars.

St. Mary's High School, of New Haven CT celebrated our 50th Class Reunion on October 25th, 2025! What a memorable event!! We were greeted with such kindness and understanding throughout the planning process! The day of our celebration, the entire staff was able to meet our every need and request. The pristine accommodations were superior. The excellent quality in china, glass and table linens was well above aversge. Everyone one attending, could not believe how delicious the food was and the presentations were of perfection. This is all we could have wanted for our guests! No detail was left unattended. Hospitality at its finest. A huge thank you to the entire staff who welcomed us and made our event, over the top!!!

My husband and I had celebrated our Valentine's Day this year at Woodwinds in Branford CT. It was the best party ever!! When I made the reservation for the Valentine event, I was very pleased with the receptionist named Julia. She was very nice, courteous and helpful. The management, the staff, the decoration, the food and the music from the DJ named Michael were excellent. There was a lot of ambience there. The music was great that a lot of guests got on the dance floor to dance. it was so enjoyable! I will definitely come back next year for Valentine. If you are looking for a best place to celebrate your Valentine, Woodwinds is the one. I highly recommend this venue to my families and friends.
