Pink Olive Events

Carisa and her team were a lifesaver for our wedding! We got married in August and hired Carisa as our day of coordinator and she was absolutely perfect. She was so helpful and organized in every detail of our wedding and made me feel such at ease on our wedding day. She has such a wonderful personality and you can tell she loves what she does! Our wedding was everything we could have ever asked for and we can’t thank Pink Olive enough for all that they did for us!

I found Carisa at Pink Olive Events totally by chance while quickly Googling “wedding planner near me.” I reached out, we had the most incredible phone call, and I was lucky enough to meet her that same day at a Wedding Expo she was hosting. From the second I met her, I could just tell she was bubbly, dependable, and genuinely loved what she does. It was such an easy choice to have her help plan our destination wedding. We got married at the Emara Estate Villa in Turks and Caicos. Neither Carisa nor I had ever been to the venue or even to Turks and Caicos at all, but somehow she knew exactly where to start and pulled off the most magical weekend with two nights of celebration. She found the most amazing musicians and caterers for our welcome dinner, and brought in the sweetest team to help set up all the chairs, tables, and twinkle lights (shoutout Hazel!). She somehow found the most amazing, thoughtful, and meticulous hair and makeup artists for my girls and I on wedding day. I absolutely adored them. Our DJ was fabulous, hilarious, and Carisa even supported me when I insisted on sending my excel spreadsheet of "must play" and "do not play" songs. She made sure he tolerated me (lol!). She eased my mind, made me laugh, and supported me through all of my DIY ideas (even when they were a bit illogical... but was ALWAYS there when it was time to think of plan B!). That kind of kindness and dedication is so rare. Need I also remind that she executed all of this while in a completely different country!? I don’t know if many people would have been able to pull of what she did... and I know for a fact I could not have done it without her. On the actual wedding day, Carisa and Alex were beyond thoughtful, completely on top of everything, and somehow managed to wrangle our very large (and very much in vacation mode) bridal party in Turks and Caicos. Their attention to detail was unmatched. They checked in with me often and were always available for quick chats whenever I was nervous, excited, anxious, or just needed to share something. They worked so closely with me every step of the way to make sure I had the wedding of my dreams, and they absolutely delivered. Before I was about to walk down the aisle (and I will never forget this), I nervously looked up at the sky as two large rain clouds were rolling in. Our wedding was on the beach. She looked at me, grabbed my hand, and said "Hey, what are you doing? Don't look at those clouds. This is going to be perfect." And it was. During the ceremony, a rainbow appeared behind us, and the clouds cooled us off from the beating sun. There was no rain, only magic. Carisa was right, it was perfect. She worked so well with my mom, my now husband, and me that it honestly feels strange not talking to her every day now that the wedding is over. Being a doctoral student and planning a destination wedding in under a year was a whirlwind. I truly do not know how I would have done it without her. I feel incredibly lucky and grateful. If I could do it all over again, I would choose Pink Olive Events a thousand times. Thank you, Carisa! You gave us the wedding of our dreams and we’ll never forget it. 💗 All our love, Sam & Austin

I had an amazing experience with pink olive events! Carisa made sure my baby shower had every beautiful detail specific to the theme I wanted. Made the experience so fun and stress free. The day of the baby shower, Alex, did a great job setting up and helping throughout the shower and also helped put gifts away in my car, I definitely recommend them!

Where do I even begin... Carisa for the win! We hired Pink Olive Events for our coordinator for the day of our wedding and thank goodness we did. Carisa and Alex were absolutely amazing. Once they arrived at our venue my mother and I could relax and enjoy every moment of the day because we knew we were in such great hands. They were able to quickly adapt to change, help pull off last minute surprises, and handle any hiccups along the way. I now realize how lost I would have been with out their advise, planning, and organization. Do yourself a favor and hire Pink Olive Events before it is too late!!!

WOW - Carissa, Alex, and Lexie made my wedding day an absolute flawless dream!! I hired Pink Olive Events for day-of coordination and I cannot recommend them enough. They made sure every detail of my vision was executed perfectly and went so above and beyond to make our wedding day special. I wasn't sure that I needed a day of coordinator, but as it got closer to the wedding it felt like a service that was needed to ensure me and my entire family had as little stress on the big day as possible. If you are on the fence about a coordinator or Pink Olive Events - don't be! I would hire this dream team again and again.
