The store itself is good. Great variety and prices. However, I always get frustrated when using the self cashier system here. The system constantly requires a person to over ride it. Other stores are much more seamless and easy to use. They really need to invest in a new system.
So I was going to buy a gift card for a friend’s birthday and after I bought it I noticed the code was ripped off the card. I tried returning it but they said I couldn’t do anything about it and lost money because of that. ShopRite, please pay attention to your gift cards.
I believe in giving companies and people more than one try when things go wrong but in the case is Clinton ShopRite 2 strikes and your out. Had 1 very bad interaction with a cashier about 6-8 months ago and stayed out of that store until last I figured I would give it another try. I will say the staff on the floor is nice the cashiers at this store are nice. I controlled my emotions last night as to not make matters worse. But I will NEVER AGAIN STEP FOOT IN THE CLINTON SHOP RITE !!!! Giving a 1 star is too generous
Good selection and prices. Clean, relatively modern store. Ample parking. Attentive staff. Easy to find. Store brands and options for organic produce are plentiful. Overall good experience. I will shop there again, for sure!
It’s a good store, but you can tell it’s an older store. the isles are tight so only two carts can pass each other. Other than that. It’s a ShopRite.
