A local community favorite that offers well cared for; annuals, perrenials, trees , shrubs, beautiful Garden decor. Walking the center opens your heart to God's miracle of life! Beautifully cared for gardens and grounds on the Farmington River.. sweet music playing as people canoe passed. They are a friendly staff welcoming and helpful. Pricing reflects hired staff to work the center.. Bc they hire people to care for their plants, the pricing is according. You will purchase plants from here, that thrive vs plants with low tolerance to change.
A quaint little nursery alongside the Farmington River that focuses on shrubbery, plants, small trees, and beautiful, almost exotic flowers. The rails to trails path intervenes at the driveway leading into the nursery, where there's a nice paved walking / bike path that is a beautifull stroll along the river with lots of benches & picnic tables overlooking the water. Many informative plaques along the way, that then leads to the David Sinish boat launch, where there's a public restroom and then leads to a little board walk. The path continues past Collinsville Canoe & Kayak & to the center of Collinsville, where it will keep going to the vast rails to trails project deep into Farmington, Avon, and Simsbury.
Beautiful selection of flowers, herbs, and trees. Purchased dwarf Dahlias for my windowboxes along with herbs for my garden. A bit pricey but lovely quality and selection.
