Ordered 2 separate loads of 5-7” river rock the first one was amazing hardly any dirt mixed in. (1st pile of dirt from 1.5yard load first picture). The second delivery of 2 yards has so much dirt mixed in it’s going to take me 3 times as long to get through it. Called to see if it was normal and was told they advertise as unwashed…I guess I just lucked out on the first load

Couldn’t be more excited to use our new chiminea that we just purchased from Harkens!! Christine is the best!! She knows the products and how to apply them perfectly. Our new chiminea is exactly what we were looking for in projecting the heat without all the smoke. Thanks so much!!

DYI / father and son project - 1000 sq ft including (paver patio, fire pit, retaining wall, retaining wall lights, cobblestones for driveway edging, and top soil)...all purchased through Harkens. I’m a father and working professional with no prior masonry experience. The above project would have never been completed without the help and guidance from Harkens Staff, especially the owner Jamie. Prior to doing business with Harkens, I visited a handful of other masonry / landscaping yards and the customer service that I received at Harkens is what won my business. I’m not a contractor nor a business owner, getting into this size of a project was a little overwhelming but Jamie took the time to not just push product my way but validate many of my pending questions and quote me accordingly with products that would stay within my budget. After several visits to Harkens, Jamie took time out of his busy schedule and in between of helping other customers to reviewed my project design and answered many questions. Prior to starting this project, my research consisted YouTube and reading. During the project, I encountered many unforeseen questions where my research didn’t provide answers too. I had the privilege to be able to contact Jamie directly and obtain quick tips and guidance. Overall, it was a true pleasure doing business with Harkens. Only good thing was they were able to deliver next day. These are the ugliest Marble chips I have ever seen. Full of yellow stone and TONS of sand. Absolutely dirty. I had sent photos to the company and no apology just excuse of "it happens". If you are going to sell this then update your photos online to show the true color.

This is a good place to find unique and good quality landscaping materials, HOWEVER, besides being overly expensive, you never get the same price or item you order if you don't get it all at once. Depending on who you talk to when you need suggestions in materials or price, one person will tell you one thing and another person something competely different. Most of all DO NOT special order with them because what you redirect you will get something else and no one takes accountability for it. You are told, either 'I don't know why they told you that' or 'it must have been a misunderstanding'. Then you will pay a 30% restock fee.
