New Haven Florist

I received a bouquet in a vase as a gift. I did not know it was coming. We found it on it's side near my back gate. I reviewed my cameras and saw that the driver pulled in, honked the horn (?), waited a few moments then left it by the back gate. It was windy and got knocked over and we didn't discover it until an hour after he dropped it off. No attempt to go to the front door or anything. I was home all day. The flowers themselves were nice but you could easily tell what side the bouquet fell on by the crushed flowers. I tried to call the number in the card as it states they want to hear if they fail to meet expectations but it went to a full mailbox.

I've been trying to contact this florist all morning. I don't know how I didn't notice the bad reviews they have. I placed an order that needed to be delivered before 12 p.m. because after 12 p.m. the person receiving it was going on a trip. I called, and they told me yes, they would make the delivery before 12 p.m. However, by this time, I haven't heard anything about my delivery, nor have they answered my calls. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!

Flowers left in sun when shade was available and person sending flowers specifically requested that they be delivered next door if no one was home. Unable to contact at the phone number listed. Tried multiple times over 2 days.

I guess I should’ve really paid attention to these reviews but I wanted to give this shop the benefit of the doubt. Turns out- big mistake. I placed an order for my mom’s birthday, a Citrus kissed premium bouquet. Not only did the bouquet look nothing like the picture, I am not sure how someone could think that it is even acceptable to deliver something that looked like this! I understand that substitution is sometimes necessary but again the flowers looked nothing even close to what I ordered. For the amount of money they charged I could’ve picked a better bouquet from Stop n Shop. Do better new haven florist!

My husband used FTD to send me an anniversary arrangement. The delivery was a day early (not our anniversary) and what was delivered was a FUNERAL ARRANGEMENT. Absolutely NOTHING like the photo. It was made of almost all carnations. To make matters worse, the carnations were all dead or dying. It had palm branches in the back and everyone thought someone died. This place should not be in business and should not be considered a florist by any stretch of the imagination. See pics of what was ordered and the garbage that was delivered. So embarrassing.
