I have always had a pleasant experience and all the flowers/plants i have gotten have done well. I usually get my annuals, perennials, and got several trees/bushes. All the plants i have that weren’t annuals are all doing fine including some i planted after winter (kept it in my garage and planted them in spring). Really reasonable prices and i love to come here in late summer/ early fall for some fantastic deals.
Decent variety of plants. Some were very happy and healthy (like the one I picked up), and some weren't in the best shape and looked like they could use some serious TLC… a good watering, some pruning, a bit of weeding, etc. That being said, it really has been hotter than hell for the last few weeks, so maybe that has something to do with their current condition; this is the first time I’ve ever been here, so maybe I just came during a rough patch. Pretty good prices! The lady working there was very nice!
Since I returned to Connecticut six years ago, is the first time that I feel little uneasy in the way that someone treated me in a store. I went to this store because every time that I was driving by I saw this place almost empty in comparison with the next garden store. Almost right way understood why. The lady that was there not even said hello to me but she was very attentive with other clients. Not even asked me once what I want. Good for you! I will never go back to your little store
This is probably the cutest place ever. I’ve shopped at every little garden place from Manchester to Durham, and now that I made the choice to stop right here in my hometown I don’t think I’ll be traveling anymore :) Got myself a huge bag of bird food, a bird seed bell, and two suet cakes for 20 bucks. But it wasn’t the fairly priced bird stuff that had me- it was the charming ladies inside. I’ll be back soon and often, thank you for the pleasant convo about little Timothy and for the little light that your business brings in a dark time.
