80 percent of the clams where dead. This safety risk is unacceptable. These clams were steamed for 20 minutes and still never opened because they were dead. I bought them not 30 minutes ago and cooked them right away.
I love this location ,it's closest in having everything from the norwalk location ,but this valentines day i pre ordered a cake and I asked for buttercream and they gave me whipped cream and the picture I asked for to be printed out ,was off by so many colors also it was like they just smaked the pic on there and called it a day as well as the way they packed it ,it smashed part of my pic ,but that doesn'teven matter because it was actually gross , i couldve done a better job .Anyways it was an awful experience unfortunately i had to throw it away ,never again . Buy your cakes elsewhere.
One of the better stores in the Shop Rite chsin. Stands out with cleanliness, great parking and access. Great location of Rt 8 north & south. Fruits and Vegetables are usually good quality. Fish department excels over Stop & Shop. Great store for well-known Cac-Can sale in January.
I really like this store I live in Stratford, but I travel to Shelton. This store seems to have everything I need and I don’t have to fight to get a parking space.
It is always frustrating when you have a food allergy, and you see products in the Gluten Free case, and they are not gluten free at all. The dumplings, potatoes, and bagels are not GF. Most of the items on the other side were not GF either. Please be more careful with product placement.
