Colonial Flower Shoppe

Received flowers for my birthday- just disappointing. 2 carnations and 2 roses and a cheap white flower when an entire bouquet was ordered. To be honest I’ve gotten better quality roses at Walmart. They were half dead upon arrival. Seems like you blame this on the fact that you use 3rd party sellers. If you valued your reputations and your clients you’d choose not to do this if you can’t afford to make a reasonable bouquet with the profit.

I usually do not write reviews but I was just so upset with how this was handled that I cannot let this go. For my parents 33rd anniversary I wanted to send them some flowers so I ordered a LARGE bouquet through 1-800-flowers which then colonial flower shoppe fulfilled the order. My parents were sent a small bouquet. I was trying to be understanding of the situation so I called and spoke to Debbie. She said that even though I paid $98 to 1-800-flowers, she received $70ish and would only make flowers worth that value so I would not get a large bouquet and she would only send a small. I love to support small businesses when I can but I live over 2 hours away so I was not sure what floral shop to go through so 1-800-flowers was one of my only options. She said that I was basically paying for convenience by using the 3rd party and if I didn’t want this to happen in the future then I should order from her website directly. I’m not upset the situation happened but more upset with how it was handled— really put a damper on the flowers I was so excited to give my parents. I called 1-800-flowers after to see if there was anything they could do and they were appalled with how this was handled by the flower shoppe and said this was not how they were supposed to make the bouquet— I was supposed to get a large no matter what because that is what I ordered. 1-800-flowers is now sending me another bouquet free of charge and even store credit. Debbie never offered anything like that to me and was not accommodating at all. Will not be giving this place my business again, they should not be on third party sites if they are not going to fulfill orders as promised. I added a photo of what they got and what I ordered.

My son and daughter in laws wedding flowers were exactly what they wanted and more. Absolutely lovely and looked fresh line they were just put together. All photos are turning out beautifully. I saw all the 1800flowers reviews and cannot believe the audacity of the negative reviews when the online agency are truly the issue. If you Want quality flowers, call a local florist directly line I always do. You should really rethink your words as they are a small business and they truly put their heart into every piece as I have seen with my own eyes for years.

Ordered flowers through 1800flowers they ended up being delivered from this shop. They were first delivered to a wrong address at 7:30 at night when they should have been delivered before 5. Then reordered them and they said no one was there to receive them, when they were. Not to mention I spent $100 on the XL bouquet only to recieve a bouquet that made me feel as if I should have bought one at Big Y for 12.99. It would have been more beautiful. So disappointing. I understand that bouquets don’t look exactly as online but they should be representative of the price that is paid.

Loved this cute place! Debbie and Terri are amazing and I truly enjoyed conversing with them. I absolutely LOVE my flowers 💕 I appreciate them going above and beyond to make my first experience buying flowers a memorable one. Can't wait to bring my family!
