Stop & Shop

I had an amazing experience with Margaret the manager in the meat department. She helped me with securing turkeys for Thanksgiving for the employees at my company. She looked into the process for me (calling corporate), estimated the cost, ordered the turkeys AND when it came to pick up she helped load them into my SUV (times 2 trips). She was super helpful, accommodating, positive energy and an excellent communicator throughout this whole process! Will definitely be using South Windsor Stop and Shop again!

This is a really great Stop-n-Shop. The store is always clean, well stocked with fresh produce and carries good selection. I appreciate that store clerks are very aware of various holidays and make sure that appropriate products are available.

This is a good store. It's clean, well-stocked, its machines and carts are maintained, and the employees provide good service. There is plenty of parking and there are other useful stores and restaurants in its plaza.

Came tonite to do quick shopping of 1 particular product that was on sale. Doors were closed for people who would want to get in, around 850pm. For more than a year now one side of stop n shop is usually closed around this time and there is only one entrance way to get in and out . But this time that open entrance way was also closed. I get people want to go home and especially on a Sunday night. But if a store advertises to close at 9pm it should close at 9pm and not 850pm. Please figure this out or get workers who are willing to do their job. I had to leave what I was doing to come here and people can’t do their job.

This pertains to South Windsor store. Only two registers open on a Saturday and NO baggers. If you have workers constantly calling out on weekends then fire them. Otherwise you may need additional workers or managers should come in to help. This is really bad! Prices are way up and no one working. Do better folks!
