Big Y

Honestly, this is my go to Grocery store. They are great, they are a little pricey at times on certificate things but as long as you get your membership card it eases that. They have an amazing deli section and an amazing butcher shop section. I used to go to a real butcher shop but with what they have. There's no need. They even have amazing, well marbled Ribeye steaks always. I highly recommend

This grocery store is definitely a favorite of mine. This location is always very clean and well organized. They also offer weekly specials and carry their own store brands, which offer consumers food for a reasonable price. Also, this store is always well stocked and offers a vast variety of food and brands and has a spacious parking lot. It is also conveniently located in a shopping plaza which allows me sometimes to order some Chinese food or a smoothie before going shopping or even grab a quick haircut...love the location; it's very convenient.

Big Y is one of my favorite grocery stores. I love that I can find all kind of options here from ready to eat food, pick up party platters, vegan options & normal groceries all in one trip. This trip I found a surprisingly great Vegan frozen meal. I don't eat Vegan meals but wanted to try something new while I'm cutting out meat. I came across "Purple Carrot" brand. It was really flavorful and didn't have nuts so I was able to try it. I would definitely look into more options sold here.

Great Big Y this one is in Trumbull/Stratford, Ct. It's clean & they have a employee wiping down the shopping carts constantly. They carry just about every type of food item their is. Their bakery is awesome; breads, pies, cakes, cookies, donuts & specialty breads & items. Fresh seafood & produce; try their Fish & Chips Dinner, it's Great!! They have plenty handicapped parking, along with wheelchair entrance & bathroom. Friendly & respectful employees. I had a Great experience here & I think you will also.

Big Y in Stratford, CT was the worst experience. They dont even deserve a star. The guy from the pizza department keep me for 30 mins waiting on the phone, picking up just to say hold on, many times. After I complained to the manager, the guy from the pizza told that they can not take my order because they are booked. They did not take my pizza order even for a cortesy for the waiting. It has not been not the first time, they did this. They do this every time when I call after 5 pm. It's like they do not want to take orders after 5 pm. Worst experience ever.
