ShopRite of Tri-City Plaza

Closed earlier with no online notification (also do in part with Google listening it as still owned.) and the being there 5min before when they would be closing with people still inside refused to allow me to get orange and cranberry juice..a and an ice cream for New year's eve... No consideration for busy people, or quick in and out... Especially only place that diffrent hours were seen posted were at the doors of the store.. Which you wouldn't had seen until you got to the store and saw them for yourself.. I've spent over 3 hrs of my new years searching for juice for the company... What a celebration I am having.. Let alone our guests.. 😒 (I remember back I was my day there woukd be announcements made about their hours for holidays in advanced and everywhere but even now I see they are "open" but actually Arnt.. What a waste of time, money, gas,. (oh and don't forget ozone amd emissions from driving... Probably 13-30 people have died as a result of this l! Smh 🤦🏼‍♂️

Been here once. My ShopRite debut. I’d say it is very similar to other grocery stores eg Big Y, Hannaford, Starmarket. Pretty big inside with emphasis on deli section. I bought some scallions, cilantro and shrimp tempura from my memory. It’s fine. But relatively pricy vs Aldi and trader joe. It’s a sometimes good to go grocery place for me, I guess

Beware of using the self check out line. I was accosted in the parking lot, with three employees following me, accusing me of stealing. I was asked to produce my receipt and did. No apologies for the mistake. No explanation of how they messed up. They just took off after checking my receipt. I asked around, and apparently this is fairly common at this particular shop rite. Learn the rules of the check out line!

I arrived at the Vernon Shoprite at 9:40pm spent 10 minutes finding my items all while being reminded on the intercom every 2 minutes they would close at 10:00pm. At 9:50pm I was using the self checkout and heard them speaking about me saying "there's one more" I finished my purchase and at 9:55 walked out. While leaving I wished the self check out attendant a goodnight, she stared at me and nodded a single time. While I'm sure there are plenty of great employees at this store I did not meet any tonight surely it is a management issue and there are possibly various other factors however it seemed as though none of them wished to be working any longer. I understand that sentiment and as such respected their time by leaving within their posted hours. If you want to close earlier please do that instead of passive aggressively pushing your customers to leave the store.

Great location! Amazing service. Wide selection of anything you can think of. Always clean and well stocked. Vernachell and Angela are very patient, courteous and professional.
