Looks like a third grade student’s handwriting very disappointed if you can’t be aesthetic and make something nice for someone’s birthday, you shouldn’t be working in the bakery. I also asked them if they could put flowers on it. They refused. He could barely even write on the cake Nicely.
This Stop & Shop is good size and carries a wide variety of products. They have a nice selection of local items, like bakery and bread, plus they have a fairly large Starbucks inside with seating. They store is a little dated and they recently removed the portable scanners, which is a disappointment for those that prefer to shop that way. The store is generally clean and the staff is friendly.
Always stocked. Fresh fruit and meats. Great flowers. Prices are good. Staff are visible but I have never needed assistance. Checkout is fast. I always use self checkout which is faster. Just please link the devices so that I can place my card in the card reader and not have to press "debit card" on the actual transaction screen
Disgusting amount of mold and mildew and the smell of urine. I’ve stopped buying meat and produce here and only pop in here and there for quick, prepackaged things. These ceilings pictures are just what I was able to take tonight when I ran in quick, but I’ve mold and mildew on the walls, on the produce stands, on the vents… it’s alarming and disgusting. I mentioned it to the person at the service counter and they just kind of dismissed me. I understand it’s not their personal issue but this poses a potential health risk.
Just drove to this location purposely to play some lottery and get some scratch tickets. 5:20 in the early evening and signs say “closed”. I looked at one of the employees who was close by and asked if they were closed already and she said “no, she’s on her break, she’ll be back in about 20 minutes “…I was a restaurant and retail manager for 40 years and have never ever heard of closing the customer service area because of someone taking their break. No manager working who could cover the employees??? Would you also shut down the deli, the seafood dept etc for someone to take a break. This particular location has never really been managed well but this is a first and I find it ridiculous and unnecessary.
