What the?! Every once in awhile you hear something that makes you wonder how anyone ever thought it up, let alone pulled it off….Last year I reconnected with an old buddy I use to work with. He invited me down for a hang at his pad in Ft. Lauderdale and I finally managed to create the time a few weeks ago. I’d never met his wife before (that’s how long it’s been) so I quickly popped into the first florist I saw to arrive with some flowers (and, no worries, I remembered the beer and wine, as well!). It was Stilla. I asked them to throw together a suitable arrangement at their own discretion and not only was it killer, minimal, elegant and appropriate but spoiler—or, I should say, NO spoiler—they actually treat the flowers, naturally, with a process that keep them fresh for more than a year. Like I said: What the?! And you don’t have to water them, either. Boom.
