Everytime I go to this Publix, it is always clean and the employees are kind. Usually I come late after work towards closing time and all the employees are still in a good anttitude and are not mad (at least don’t show it haha) that I’m in there 10 mins before closing. Tonight I went in a little after 9 pm and thankfully the sub station was open. Erline made a PERFECT sub and was so kind, fast, and patient doing so. Even at the end of her shift, she was very delightful to interact with (working in food service in the past, I know it can get frustrating at times respect the end of the day when all you want to do is go home) Also, she made THE most sub perfect, everything was evenly distributed and she even sliced the meat fresh when I said I could just pick something else since it wasn’t pre sliced. Sometimes employees over load the sub and it just falls apart. This was the best sub I’ve had in a while. Thank you again. ☺️
This is one of the worst Publix; I usually prefer the Publix at Woodswalk. Why do I consider this store one of the worst. It’s usually because of the Deli and sandwich department. When both departments get a little mildly crowded they just leave one worker to work the department alone. This also goes for the sandwich department. The employees can see there are people waiting but instead they all of a sudden go off to the side and start getting busy. Five people are working off to the side but not one can be spared to work the sandwich counter? Today I asked for a half of meatball sub, the lady couldn’t find any meatballs and then I remembered reading this morning that Publix pulled its Market Ground beef because of listeria update just read not listeria but from foreign materials . Since I moved to this neighborhood 12 years ago, this store had become even worse than it already was. Do not like the quality and the poor management of this store.
I had a very disappointing experience at this location due to the behavior of one of the bakery staff members. She is a short woman with blonde hair typically tied in a bun. Unfortunately, she was loud, rude, and spent much of her time gossiping about others. She also gave unpleasant looks that made the environment uncomfortable. I wish I had caught her name, but her behavior left a lasting impression for all the wrong reasons. As someone who lives nearby, it's unfortunate to say that I’d rather travel farther for my groceries than return here and deal with that kind of negativity again. I won’t be purchasing from the bakery anymore and won’t be returning to this store.
Terrible store. every time I go in there it’s a problem. Stood at the deli for 10 minutes and at least 6 people, including a manager, walked by me without acknowledging I was there or if I needed help. One lady making subs asked for others to help and nobody came they kept working behind the scenes not wanting to deal with customer. Publix needs to train their managers and employees about basic customer service and Publix needs to remember who is paying their bills. At their high prices, they should be kissing the feet of anyone who walks through that door. Bad.
The customer service in the deli, sub department was rude and hateful like as if she is doing you a favor to make your sub to order, the lady is an older black woman. She seems to really hate her job. I asked her to dig out the bread, had to ask twice and she actually threw the inside on the floor, and seemed annoyed. You have so many kind helpful employees, but this is not my 1st bad interaction with this one lady i was in the deli department today on August 10th, and to my surprise a young gentleman made my husband 2 subs. He was kind and considerate, very good customer service unlike in the past being treated rudely by the older Haitian lady. I give this service today 5 stars
