Very clean store and stocked well. The prices are higher, but hey, you’re on the island; it’s to be expected. All of the employees are available. They literally stand at a place throughout the store in case you need assistance. That’s so helpful for non residents. They have a fresh soup counter. I got the wild mushroom bisque and the lobster bisque. Fantastic! I may have to go back. They have a good stock of pool and ocean toys; much better than other grocery stores near by. They also have sunscreen (the good stuff: Sun Bum), flip flops and clothing. Friendly service and a nice environment.
Very helpful and kind associates. The buy one get one free sales are amazing. Clean store and well stocked. Even the curbside pick has been great. Easy, reliable and fast for a busy work week.
I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and frankly, shock, regarding the behavior of one of your employees, "Hope." I have been a loyal Publix customer for years specifically because of the commitment to a pleasant shopping experience and exceptional customer service—something this interaction actively undermined. However, the most egregious issue occurred as I was walking away from the counter. I distinctly overheard Hope talking to a coworker, clearly referencing my interaction (or: referencing the previous customer's interaction) in a derogatory and mocking way. The comments were loud enough for customers in the aisle to hear and demonstrated a profound lack of respect and professionalism. Employees should never be engaging in gossip about customers, especially within earshot of other patrons. This behavior, combining open rudeness with subsequent unprofessional ridicule, is actively ruining the positive shopping environment Publix strives to maintain. Hope's conduct is a liability to your store's reputation. I urge management to address this immediately, both concerning her customer service training and the necessary discipline regarding professional workplace conduct. I approached the counter to inquire about a custom order for a small cake. Hope was clearly visible in the back, seemingly working on items, but she took an excessive amount of time to acknowledge me, even though the counter was otherwise empty. When she finally came forward, her demeanor was outright mean and dismissive. When I posed my question, she sighed heavily, rolled her eyes, and responded with a sharp, unfriendly tone that suggested my request was a massive inconvenience to her. She provided minimal, unhelpful information and gave off an overwhelming aura of hostility, completely refusing to offer any assistance or even a basic level of politeness. The attitude displayed by Hope is completely unacceptable for someone interacting with the public, especially in a service department. A baker who is supposed to be creating items for celebration and enjoyment should not be making customers feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Her mean-spirited approach severely diminishes the pleasure of shopping at your store. I urge the management team to address this behavior immediately. Employees who are openly rude to customers are damaging the reputation and atmosphere that Publix has worked hard to establish.
Very nice, clean store. I really enjoy going to Publix because I know it is well stocked, clean and orderly. The fresh bread and bakery items are the best around. If you need tasty hot soup go here....always a good variety to choose from. While you are there don't pass up the fresh cheese and cold cuts for your sandwiches at home! Or take some hot fried chicken home for supper or lunch. I love the seafood selections straight out of the ocean. The Tuna is delicious 😋 If you are looking for good food, and a variety of items, don't pass this place up! MAHA
