Clean and friendly- I always look forward to my visits to Florida, because Publix sweet tea and ice cream is always a must!
I love Publix! It's always clean, neatly organized, the bakery is great with delicious cakes, the food in general is tasty, & the staff are always helpful & nice. Publix is a little more pricey than your other grocery stores but the experience, quality of products & customer service are worth the shopping trip.
Arrived right as Shep was almost done cleaning out the seafood cooler, and getting ready to shut down for the day, I asked if he was still steaming seafood, and with no hesitation, and a smile, he gladly retrieved the items I wanted (even though they were already put away) and seasoned them to perfection, and steamed them for us... This was a great experience because my wife and I were in town on vacation, staying in a hotel, and did not want to drive to far in the rain through the confusion Jacksonville highways... Shep, your the man! We really appreciate you
In Wednesday the cream cheese rolls... rice, seaweed,crab meat, cucumber and cream cheese is $5. I requested if they could make me one without cucumber and the asaia female says its special order and I wont be able to get for $5. I said we'll i dont eat cucumber and I am asling for less on it. I explained that no one ever upcharge me to request of no cucumbers. She said no and asked if I wanted to pay extra? Is this normal its one day before Thanksgiving I was trying to get a quick meal and of course I didn't grab anything bevause she said no and I didnt thinknit was fair. And I'm very hungry and I just want to clarify so that I don't let have someone raising her voice explaining to me hiw its not allowed. I felt a lolittle embarrassed too. But I didn't feel like being out of my comfort zone and requesting to see a manager. I have gone to other publox and never been treated like that over $5 rolls when asking for no cucumbers. Only upcharged when I asked for something vert different from is normally sold for the $5 rolls. 11/26/2025 13:12
Not only does this Publix have amazing customer service people like Charles Madison but they have a wonderful management team that keeps this busy Publix with the wide variety of the groceries you need. Was very happy to see happy customers busily getting ready for the Holidays. Don't forget to thank the people in the deli for the hard work the put in to make the best sub's using the best meats; especially with Boar's Head : The Premium Deli Meat that has the healthy living at mind with every product! Don't forget the Jaguar sub with those amazing juicy Publix chicken tenders no-one else can match in taste and quality! Go Jags!
