Great to have a publix in the heart of 5 points. Parking lot is an abomination to mankind. The automotive equivalent of unanesthetized amputation. A cosmic horror of pavement. A constant reminder of how small and irrelevant we actually are in society. Subs are great.
One of my go to locations for grocery’s. Past 5 years. Have always had questionable experiences when it comes to the employees it don’t look like they want me to shop but I shop their. Would give 5 stars cause i consistently go their in theirs always a sale or something, discounts and bogo’s. 3 stars because when i first start shopping at riverside publix I kept getting sick after shopping and I figure out why after multiple times I narrow it down what’s causing this? Mouth all slimy and slickly causing me to want to spit. Was from cup of ice that I was getting from deli the ice machine produces saliva like causing coating the entire cup once even partially touched with the beverage ice from deli and to this day it’s the same machine from the 4!years ago, but I been boycotting the issue… and just avoiding it… Another thing I would prefer is the food care workers be all vaccinated. You can kinda taste it when they’re not. Especially with the bakery item. CAN TASTE WHEN THEIR NOT VACCINATED. Produces a little rubber smell which i guess comes of their skin from sweat that eventually finds its way into the foods, yet still remains eatable, just definitely noticeable. That’s why had to mention! ( Recommend find a parking spot on the outskirts if got a big sedan or a large suv or truck due to parking space in inner square gets tight. )
I really used to love this Publix. But recently they have hired people that work in the restaurant part of the store… that prepares food…. And they do not care about Customer Service!!! Please let me explain. I ordered jerk chicken at 4:45 PM. Two ladies help me, one was a new hire (her second day on the job) and one has been there for a long time because I see her all the time. They tell me that my jerk chicken will be ready in one hour. I come back an hour and five minutes later. They told me they need 25 more minutes. I came back a half an hour later. Only be told that the food that they made was not what I ordered. Suddenly we are talking about Mardi Gras chicken????!!!! The new person went to explain, and the older person told her to be quiet in front of the manager. Why would she tell her to be quiet in front of the manager? Clearly, she knew she had messed up. But rather than admit that you’re wrong…She did what young people always do… EXCUSES!!! Now I have to go back another hour later to get your chicken. Please fire whoever doesn’t know how to tell time in the food services department of Publix at Riverside. We pay a lot of money to live in this neighborhood and poor customer service is not appreciated. Big props to the new lady that was starting there. It wasn’t her fault. 🫶🏾. It shouldn’t take Three trips to Publix to get your order, right

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Robo Review — Publix, 2033 Riverside Ave (Downtown Jacksonville) I’ve been all over this state — from Miami to Pensacola and even up into Georgia — and I can tell you this Publix holds its own. Right in the middle of a busy downtown stretch, this place stays clean, organized, and welcoming no matter how slammed it gets. The staff keeps a genuine smile on, aisles stay stocked, and checkout lines move quicker than you’d expect for a location this packed. Parking’s solid, the store layout makes sense, and everything feels like it runs on teamwork and pride. If you’re rolling through downtown Jax and need groceries, a sub, or just that classic Publix vibe done right — this is the stop. 💪 #RoboReview #RoboAce #RoboAcesCom #JacksonvilleFL #FloridaStops #RoadWarrior #TravelLife #Publix #Olszewski #Robo #LilRobo #RoboAndLilRobo
