Adrian's New Port Richey Florist

Sad to make this review but I was looking for a florist in New Port Richey to send a birthday bouquet to a friend who just moved to the States. I chose a bouquet and tried to place my order online but the system does not allow me to enter Canada as my billing location. I could input all the info needed for my friend in NPR but didn't even have the option to change the country/billing to Canada. USA only. I tried emailing Adrian's as in the "contact" section, email is provided as an option. A week later I still have not received a reply regarding how to order so I opted to go with another florist in the area. If you don't check or reply to emails, maybe remove that as a contact option and only have a phone number posted. **Email is what worked best for me** and since it was provided as an option to reach the business, that's what I did. So unfortunately this was my first impression with Adrian's. Perhaps my review will allow them the opportunity to make their website more user friendly for those of us who are not located in the USA.

I ordered the Butterfly Flower Basket for my Mother's birthday. The item recieved was even prettier than the picture on the website! Well beyond what I had expected and it was delivered on time! Excellent local florist. I highly recommend this company and I will order from them again for future events!

Originally from Washington state, here on vacation in Florida, I ordered the birds of paradise from this place to place them on my step-father’s mother’s grave. I spoke with Joanne and she is one of the sweetest ladies you’ll ever talk to. She was able to assist me in each and every way possible to ensure that the flowers I needed were on-time and looking absolutely beautiful. I’m going to miss Florida, and the people inside of it. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for being able to assist me, and may we cross paths again some day.

As a fellow business owner who values fairness in reviews, I am sharing my experience with the floral arrangement delivered by New Port Richey Florist yesterday. The bouquet received looked significantly different from what was advertised on their website. Attached are photos for reference. The website photo and description indicate the arrangement to have “Beautiful pink, white, and purple blooms artfully arranged by the New Port Richey Florist design team,” featuring lavender stock, small spray roses, and fuchsia heather. It noted, “Heather is not always available; it will be substituted with Fuchsia stock.” The actual arrangement, however, included pink roses instead of white, and there were far fewer roses overall compared to the online photo. While I understand the substitution of Fuchsia stock for Heather, as mentioned in the description, it raises questions about the ongoing availability of Heather. Additionally, the vase delivered was different from what was shown online, which I believe should have been disclosed as a possibility. Furthermore, I had included a light-hearted four-line poem for the card, but they only included the second half and omitted the opening lines (“roses are red, violets are blue”), which altered the intended message. They also added “XOXO” at the bottom without my request, which was disappointing. I hope my feedback helps improve their service and accuracy in fulfilling customer expectations. Update - reply to the owner's response: Thank you for your response. While I understand that adjustments may sometimes be necessary, I feel the extent of the adjustments in this case were significant enough to warrant a phone call rather than assuming I would be fine with them. Therefore, I posted the review to share my experience openly so others can make informed decisions when choosing a florist in the New Port Richey area. My review also aimed to highlight discrepancies beyond floral substitutions. These included altering the sentiment of my card message by omitting the first half of the poem and adding “XOXO,” as well as delivering a vase different from what was advertised online. Your reply does not address any of these specific issues. I harbor no ill will towards you or your shop. You have been in business for many years with a good number of positive reviews, so I’m sure you are conscientious and strive to do a good job. In my case, however, I feel you fell short. I believe clear communication is essential to maintaining customer satisfaction, and moving forward, I hope this feedback provides a learning experience that can help improve quality and consistency for future customers.

The arrangement JoAnne created for our wedding anniversary was beautiful! The roses were perfect and the attention to detail was noticeable and appreciated. If value, creativity, quality and customer service is important to you, you won't find better than New Port Richey Florist. I'll definitely be back!
