Publix Super Market at Grand Oaks Town Center

We all already know Publix is,”Where Shopping is a Pleasure” but this was an exceptional experience! I’ve called multiple Publix locations in Kissimmee, asked at my location in Kissimmee, and I was met with confusion or a flat no. This Publix came through!!! Grace, department manager in the Bakery is phenomenal and so is her team! I asked, and they delivered!! I needed a discontinued cake for my grandmother’s 85 birthday celebration and they made it happen!!! This Humming Bird Delight cake looks beautiful and I know it will be equally as delicious (it was fabulous 🤤!!) Thank you again Grace for making it happen and pure “delight” in our conversation on the phone. Thank you Vicky for your kind words of sharing this special day with us! With so many Publix options in the area off 200, this is the one you want to shop at. They make sure to make your experience exceptional and go above and beyond!

Love this location. Easy for me to pop in and pick up whatever I need on my way home. Employees have all been wonderful when I need help or just checking out. Very clean and friendly atmosphere.

My truck was towed breaking down on 27th Ave in Ocala FL. Publix in Grand Oaks shopping plaza was the only place to allow me to stay inside the entire day. I mean like 9 hours while waiting for the only person who could come get me to get off work. They also gave me a drink and food, as well as checking back with to ensure I was ok. Now that's way beyond customer service. Publix saved me from freezing weather and welcomed me like I was in there spending lots of money when I was actually broke. Shout out to you Publix you got my business for life. I'll always remember the kindness and warmth not just the heat but how warm your employees are when in this day and age no one really cares about humanity, you showed me a different picture and that's why I don't care if I could save a few pennies anywhere else. Publix I'll recommend you to everyone I know. Thanks for being a human company not a profit monster. You're employees will never know how much they helped me not just from the weather but in many ways.

I visit this Publix location often. It's always clean and well-stocked with all the items I need. The majority of the staff, particularly the front-end cashiers, and the associates in the deli and bakery, are consistently friendly, professional, and helpful. ​However, the overall customer service has been lackluster, and my recent visit was significantly disappointing. Our cashier, Benita, was wonderful and super sweet, but the bagger, Zack, was not. ​I asked Zack to bag my items in a specific way, but he was completely dismissive of my request. This resulted in me having to re-bag everything myself once I got to my car. To make matters worse, he didn't even put my raw turkey in a separate bag, which I only realized as I was walking out of the store. ​While the location itself is clean and nice to shop at, the poor service is ultimately not good enough for me to continue returning.

They have the best bakery items. I always get my cakes here. People come at all times to get things at last minute. I just wish they had someone there that could write on cakes a little better, lol. I also got flowers here, which were nice, but they put the tag around a flower stem and in order to get it off, we had to take the flower out and ruin the arrangement or take it off the flower and ruin just the flower. They had beautiful flowers to buy by themselves, but I also needed a vase so I had to buy an already made arrangement. They need to sell vases separately as well. This Publix always seems so busy and crowded. It's hard to navigate the parking lot or to leave and my anxiety level increases just having to go to the area, lol. Leaving it is like a weight being lifted. It's not like that at other stores, as I love to shop, lol. I love Publix but this store isn't my favorite to go to. However, I had no problems, it was clean, and everyone was friendly and helpful.
