Publix Super Market at Blue Angel Plaza

I was thrilled when this store opened. It's so much closer to my house. The store is really clean and the associates are friendly. The produce is exceptionally fresh and there is a great selection of international products. I highly recommend joining club Publix for their in-house coupons. Free cake or ice cream on your birthday.

First week in Pensacola Florida, wanted to try Publix again since they didn't have any in Hawaii. Happy to see Publix after being in Hawaii for 5 years, got greeted and complimented by a nice lady in the deli section so I thought my shopping experience would be wonderful. Happy to see smiles from other people shopping here. Went to self checkout to buy my bag of chicken. I payed for my chicken then I got walked up on by a man (who looked like he was a manager) asking me if I had something else I wanted to buy. I showed him my chicken AND my receipt and said I was only buying this. There was another lady who was standing by him staring at me like I did something wrong. (She didn't even greet me when I walked to self checkout). He kept asking if I wanted to buy something else repeatedly while staring me down..He accused me of stealing something because of my big purse. It made me very uncomfortable and a little scared because I have never stolen anything in my life. I just wanted to enjoy my experience in Publix...I definitely don't want to go back to this Publix..

I wrote a review on 11/16/2025 and can't find it. I don't know if it never went through or something else happened. Here is why I am giving a 1 star review. In June me and my now husband went to the Publix on 9 mile to to do a cake testing and to order our cake and food. We ordered our cake and went for the cake delivery which added $50. No big deal. We proceeded to order food as well. We ordered the large fruit platter and paid extra for more strawberries rather than have melon in the fruit tray that we figured no one would eat. Ordered the large veggie tray with more broccoli instead of getting cauliflower since me and my husband don't care for cauliflower. Ordered the large pin wheel platter, the large round pumpernickel with dip, large popcorn chicken. After we place our order on 9 mile the manager from that store says that since the Publix on Blue Angel is closer they can transfer our order over to them. I agree and on July 31, 2025 I pay off my remaining balance for the the cake and food. Over $600 for everything and still including the delivery fee. Fast forward to our wedding day. I'm getting ready for our day and my husband says he will pick up the food and while he is there they have on the food that I didn't pay for my food, we get it squared away and so far all is good with the food. Now the cake was supposed to be delivered to said address at 1230. well, 1230 and no cake. I wait til 1240 and still no cake. I call to see what is going on and I end up talking to the manager in the bakery, well one of them and she was not very pleasant and her attitude was coming off like sucks to be you and not really offering a solution when I told her I paid for my cake and it was supposed to be delivered to said address at certain time and she said we don't have your order form even showing you ordered a cake. Now my fault on this but I couldn't find my receipt, but finally found it. I tell her when I went to pay the cake off that their store had my order form and everything was what I wanted. Now I have my receipt from their store saying I paid for everything. I'm like how can you not have my order form when you had it when I paid it off and when I tell her I have the receipt she doesn't seem to believe me and goes what address is on the receipt for what store I paid everything at and who is the manager on the receipt? This whole interaction she acts like she cant be bothered with me. When I tell her I have proof that I have my receipt for said cake she goes ok we will talk with the 9 mile location to get your order form for your cake. Asks when would you need the cake by? ummm.... would have been great to have it at 1230. She goes I can have it done by 3. Ok, fine. Cake was delivered and to me, for what I paid for I feel like the cake could have looked better. We get to the reception and all the food looks good. When I look at the table I realize we don't have our popcorn chicken and I'm not a happy camper as this tray we ordered was $60. I feel like this store just needs to do better. On the plus side everything did taste good.

I love our new Publix! It had easy access off of Blue Angel. The employees are always helpful and courteous. Very glad to see our little neck of the woods, getting some good real estate.

I would like to thank the manager of the store, and Cody of the meat dept. We at French Investments really appreciate the help, and allowing us to purchase turkeys to give out to families in need. It truly takes a village! Thanks again
