I, too, had an issue with a lady yesterday for a corsage. I have gone here multiple times and the owners go above and beyond and their flowers are so pretty (hence the 4 star review) but I have never seen or worked with this lady before. I was put in a situation where last minute my first child’s senior prom, her date decided it wasn’t worth his time going because it was far away and he didn’t have the money. Obviously this crushed my daughter, so as a father I am desperate to find a way to make her feel special. I asked for help and she couldn’t help me it was too last minute and I understand that. My problems aren’t anyone else and don’t expect people to cater to me if they can’t. But when I asked for advice on what loose, raw flowers/ greenery I could buy to make my own. No joke, she laughed at me and said it would be a waste of flowers, that I would be cutting up flowers for no reason because there is no way I could possibly have the skills to do so because of how tedious it is. And I left with nothing but judgement. Well, maam, I did it. And I didn’t do it just so I could make this review out of spite to prove you wrong. I did it for my daughter and decided to review to tell you yes, I understand it isn’t perfect, and maybe downright horrible by florist standards. But it was perfect for the one I made it for. I made it for a father to have an opportunity to teach his daughter that she is special. And she deserves a man to put effort into her because she puts her all into everyone in her life. Don’t forget why people buy flowers in the first place. It isn’t for perfection it is for the moment the flowers create. Just wish Flowerland could have been apart of this moment.
One lady there was fast talking me and seemed like she didn't want to serve me. I really think she overcharged me for a corsage. I really needed it and other places didn't have what i was looking for. It just didn't seem welcoming. I won't be back.
