I needed flowers for my mother's bday, and am THRILLED with the gorgeous arrangement these ladies put together.
I went to Young Harris Florist for lillies for my Sister to be sent to Oregon. I was told how the process was for lillies. My Sister received them the next day, and they were beautiful.Thank you Ladies. They were perfect. Best regards, Peggy Hunnell
I am at a loss for words. I have never in my life dealt with such disrespect. I previously had a bad experience with them when they didn't deliver something for my mother a couple years ago. They said they had 2 weddings and a funeral and I thought why take more orders when you can't fulfill them? It's Mother's Day again and I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and order again because everyone has bad days or times in business. I own business and know all too well the hardships that can creep up. On this particular occasion I ordered on a Tuesday to give them ample time to fulfill my order before Sunday. They told me it was an open order, but they could most likely deliver it that day. I said ok, no problem. Wasn't delivered. No worries. I called Wednesday and they said they could most likely get it out that day. No worries, thank you! Wasn't delivered. I called Thursday at 5:06pm and they reminded me that it was an open order, but they were going to deliver it that night. I thought that was a bit late for them to do deliveries, but I said okie dokie, thank you. Wasn't delivered. I call again on Friday just to touch base and check the status of when it would be delivered (I wasn't in a hurry, but thought I'd check). As the phone is handed to the owner, I begin speaking with her (kindly speaking mind you) she proceeds to interrupt me and talks over me by not letting me get out what I'm trying to say. During the back and forth of her EXTREMELY RUDE banter and behavior, she proceeds to tell me I'm talking over her. She then decides to tell I gave wrong information, and then hangs up on me. She then calls me back and asks me if I'm going to let her finish. EXCUSE ME? I have always been told the customer is right, however, as a business owner I know that customers are NOT always right in all circumstances. Although I made sure my demeanor was calm because I was trying to figure all this out. I in fact was in the right in this whole situation. When an owner of a business is screaming at you though, it's a bit mind boggling and gets you flustered. I was in no rush to get this delivered, so I had no reason to be angry. I was just trying to touch base, but I guess she took touching base as a personal shot. Little did I know the ordered had already been fulfilled and delivered, but instead of telling me that in the beginning, she decided to tell me she was going to go to my parents house and take the order back and issue a refund, then hung up on me. As I tried calling back to ask how my refund was going to be processed, she continued to hang up the phone. She even hung up on the answering machine so I couldn't leave a message. I then received a call from the delivery driver. She seemed more calm, so I called her back to discuss the entire fiasco AND I WAS CALM!! Calmer than I probably should have been. You get nowhere when you're screaming at people. She proceeds to interrupt me as well and decided to tell me "if you'll just chill." Umm WHAT?? I said did you just tell me to chill?? My husband witnessed the entire process and is in complete awe! How are they in business by treating people this way??? They should be ashamed of themselves. My parents know these people? Seriously?? I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM, unless you want to be treated like garbage!
Young Harris Florist prepared the casket blanket for my Mom, and many of the flowers that were sent by friends and family. They were all beautiful and Sherry is so wonderful to work with.
