My family and I are disappointed with our experience at Hele Mele botanicals. We were all very excited to celebrate and surprise my mother on her birthday with an extravagant bouquet. The one we all decided on was the “Tropical Fireworks” which we all agreed that my mother would love and looked worth the cost. After purchasing and confirming the delivery time for the following morning I am called by an employee at the time it was supposed to be delivered and am informed that “we do not have the tropical fireworks right now” I don’t know why this was even an option if it’s not available, the employee told me that they only had orchids available because everything is Christmas themed. She did not mention any other option or even a partial refund and given that it was already going to be too late for delivery I accepted as she assured me it would be beautiful. She claimed the orchids she gave me are of more value than the “tropical fireworks” and that it would be delivered soon. I received no photo of the arrangement or what it looked like and it was also delivered hours past the delivery time. Also whoever did the card only wrote “Hap birthday” my family is pretty disappointed in this experience and feel we were all overcharged for two orchids that we could have honestly just got elsewhere for a fraction of the price. Below are what we ordered and what we received.
Referred by another local florist that I adore and I'm not satisfied. The bouquet was not close to as pictured, and though they may be pretty, it did not reach expectations and reasons of sending Congratulations flowers.
My Valentine flowers are stunning!! The creativity and use of local flowers make this the most gorgeous rose arrangement I have ever seen. The personal delivery adds that special touch. I highly recommend Hele Mele Botanicals!!

A group of friends, all retirees, who meet quarterly decided to do something different besides lunch and talk. We contacted Hele Mele and got the DIY option and can definitely recommend it. It was loads of fun making lei poʻo and an arrangement to take home. Weʻre thinking of doing this annually.
