I'm not a fan of Super Stores because it can be a bit overwhelming. But this store is beautiful, clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. We went in for a particular hit food item that my hubby was hungry for but they either ran out or something else. I got myself a sushi item but it was, meh.
I have been shopping at Safeway for over forty years. I have seen Safeway constantly evolve to make shopping there more convinant and so many more choices. You know, even though Safeway is kinda wordly, I think this Safeway has a definate home feel! Service is excellent! Go visit and experience it all! Aloha! Re:update! Safeway in Hilo (to me) has kinda the most awesome customer service and it reflects on the management team as they all show compassion and empathy with the utmost willingness to help!! Go check the guys by the meat and seafood department! Laughing and cutting and listening to customers and making everyone feel right "at home"!!
