I feel terrible that I couldn't remember his name, but he had to be in management due to the way he was dressed. I think his name might have been Admir, either way ...how wonderful it was that he had noticed how lost and desperate I had looked trying to find an item. Once he noticed, he immediately approached me, asked me if he could help, looked up the item and WALKED ME to it! Great job guys! Keep up the great work, customer service, and professionalism.
This store has excellent customer service. Bought deli meats on June 20th. The staff that helped me at the deli was outstanding. Made sure it was sliced right and made sure my order was correct. This store is the only one I go to for great customer service.
I’ve loved Fred Meyer since I first stepped in one in 1988 in Alaska and today I seek them first for my needs..they carry a variety of foods and tastes from organic to not organic, nice clothing abs shoe styles as well as furniture and home accessories including dishes. They are a one stop shop.
Nathally, the store clerk, pointed out to me the $5 chicken and free soda to go with it, every Thursday special with rewards card. Thank you! I would have not seen it. The store is well organized and clean. The store clerks are very friendly and helpful.
I usually only get on here to give positive reviews, but I have to talk about the way I was treated by a cashier today at Fred Meyer. I went up to the register with what I thought was two gift cards and a gift card holder, but after she rang them up, the price seemed high. I had accidentally grabbed three gift cards. Two were stuck together. She had set them up on the pedestal where people pay, being that I am in a wheelchair, I couldn’t see what was up there. After I figured out the issue I apologized. She grabbed one of the gift cards and physically threw it to the side, with obvious frustration. She then tells me that I need to pay more attention to what I am doing. I sit there waiting for her to tell me that I can put my card in the machine, again being in a wheelchair and the card reader being so high I am not able to see it very well. She again rudely tells me that I need to hurry up and pay because I am holding up the line. Being the bigger person I again apologize. The lady behind me in line actually called out the cashier for her behavior. I hate to admit it, but I did go Karen and talk to the manager about it. The manager told me that the cashier is newer, and apologized for her behavior. I understand this time of year is pretty stressful for cashiers, I’m assuming especially stressful for newer cashiers, but in my opinion, this individual has no business in customer service. This Fred Meyers is close to my house so I am always there, I guess I just need to avoid checkout line #3.
