For the second time in less than a week I have been in this store and seen a dog in a shopping cart. I just saw this sign today, which states that dogs in shopping carts is absolutely prohibited. I just happened to be taking this photo and right next to me a lady was placing her dog in the shopping cart. I pointed this out to her and she informed me that they have never said anything to here before so she was going to do it anyway. Both times I have pointed this out to the manager who have seemed less thrilled to do anything about it. The first time I informed the manager and just left the store. Don't know if he said anything at all. Today, I watched as the assistant store manager, I believe it was Shane Powell, basically acted like the store was wrong for asking her to remove her dog. He started out with "we've had a couple of customer complaints". EXCUSE ME, it's your store policy for the health and welfare of your other customers. It shouldn't take other customers to complain for you to enforce your store policy. After a brief exchange, the manager walked away, and the lady just kept shopping with the dog in the shopping cart. The manager stated that was all he could do, was to inform them. Hogwash. You tell them they can either take the dog out of the cart, or leave the store. I can't believe that Kroger, Fred Meyer or this manager puts the selfish wants of a few inconsiderate customers with their dogs over all other customers. That is certainly how this manager acted today. I guess "absolutely prohibited" means different things to some people.
Average supermarket in the US. Empty shelves, and insane prices thanks to the fat old orange president. This was so so NOT worth taking away rights from trans folx like me 🏳️⚧️.
The people that work in the pharmacy at Fred Meyer are awesome! I just received a transplant and my medication’s changed daily if not, two or three times weekly, and the pharmacist back there are just beyond amazing. I hope that it keeps the high standards. I’m sad to hear that Chase will be leaving the Fred Meyer’s store here in Nampa, it’s been so convenient and the service in there is really great. Also, the store itself on the whole is very very good, I’ve only had one major issue in the deli and that was only once for all the years I’ve shopped there. As far as I’m concerned, great service in that store.
On a cozy rainy day when I had the day off, I treated myself to a Starbucks tea and headed to Fred Meyer. I was going to enjoy my tea while taking my time to look at everything in the store and finding great ideas for the coming holidays and my cooking and baking needs. Sadly, they play such awful and LOUD music that it made me rush out the door and went shopping to Albersons, where you always have a nice shopping experience. They need management training at Fred Meyer, no JOke!
I have limited on what I buy at stores today because of no price tags. I get the whole tariff thing. And so you all feel like you can Jack up the prices when you need to accommodate. So on that note I will not be buying anything that I cannot see a price on because i'm not going to take it upfront, and feel obligated to buy it. Michael's and Walmart have done the same thing. So i've just stuck to Amazon. I used to like shopping all these stores.
