Great service. Absolutely beautiful woman inside and out will likely be servicing you. My dad’s arrangements for his funeral was great and the hug she gave me was much needed and appreciated ❤️ I recommend anyone needing funeral arrangements to stop bye.

I ordered a bouquet to be delivered on my wife's birthday, which is also on Valentine's Day. I called on 2/14 and they said the deliveries were all out but we never received it. I ended up buying flowers elsewhere the morning of 2/15, and then they tried to deliver the flowers the afternoon of 2/15 - a complete waste and we refused delivery. They would NOT refund us. A total scam and a very disappointing birthday/holiday.

My daughter informed me at 5:10 pm that her teachers birthday was the following day, and she wanted to give her flowers. With $30 dollars to my name, I remembered the flower shop I passed a few times and said I would go in. I made an illegal turn. The sign on the door says call the number to be buzzed in. I did so, there was a little confusion but I gained entry, at approx. 5:41pm. Mind you the red sign is blinking OPEN, I asked for a bouquet just something simple , quick , and in expensive. I was told they were about to close , and that they were not putting bouquets together. So I then asked if she could sell me some loose flowers, and I would put the bouquet together my self? She again said NO, and that they closed at six pm. Again no signage displaying hours of operation. It was then suggested I come at 6 am the next morning. At that point I'm like whatever. The young lady then took time to pull some pink and white carnations she put them together, she found a appropriate flower card for me. Overall, it was the unprofessionalism, when you say the finished products in the refrigerator, they sprays and flower packages were beautiful. Customer Service needs an adjustment! Also the look of the store was dated, cards and envelopes looked like they were wet and left to dry with no replacement or updates. They display for cards was dusty. Flower Displays were dusty and dingy. I understand fake flowers due to consumers. However it was very unkempt inside. I expected more but after reading the reviews I guess I got the average service treatment. Welp, hopefully I can find another black owned floral shop

Black family owned small flower shop. Everyone was so nice. I went in to get flowers at the last min for my mom and they took very good care of me. The flowers were fresh and smelled so good. You have to call to be buzzed in. Also they close at 6pm, not 7pm.

I was in town (Chicago) finalizing my grandfather's funeral services and wanted a local florist to handle my generation's flowers for his homegoing services. My friend referred me to Rhodes Florist, so I stopped by the shop on the Monday before the Wednesday's viewing, and Sharon there assured me that the flowers would not only be to the funeral home in time, but also pleasing. She was absolutely right! They not only met the timing, but their beauty was extraordinary! I truly appreciation the effort Sharon made and am very satisfied with their services.
