As a wedding photographer who has had several opportunities to work alongside Corry, there are so many lovely things I could say about her. Some of the things I love the most are the little bag of extra blooms that she sends with your florals that help to elevate your bridal flat lay detail photos. They truly make your detail photos magical, and she is so intentional and organized in the way that she includes them. She is incredibly kind, talented and hardworking. I've seen her setting up reception spaces and she truly pays attention to every little detail to make the space look perfect. You don't realize how much of your wedding day is florals---from flat lays, to bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages, even down to the cake. Hignight's will make each of those things look perfect, and be a joy to work with along the way! I will always recommend her!
Corry did the florals for my wedding and it was my vision but way better. I sent Corry my Pinterest board and then we had a meeting. My main concern was having bouquets/ florals being too white and having too many roses. I wanted pops of color and a variety of different flowers and Corry delivered beyond my expectations. I got so many compliments, the florals really elevated the venue and all the pictures my photographer took. I talked to Corry a few times leading up to the wedding and she was very easy to talk to and seemed excited for the event. A few days before the wedding she also sent me a few photos showing her progress on the bouquets which I loved and appreciated. Unfortunately, I cannot do a repeat of my perfect day but I would have Corry be florist again in a heartbeat. When I have future floral needs, I will definitely be returning to Hignight’s.
Corry makes dreams come true. I was recommended by a friend to work with Corry for my wedding. She is absolutely amazing at taking a bride's vision and bringing it to life. She came to our venue and set up the tables and other special tables. She brings extras for the photographer for detail photos with rings and invitation suites. The florals brought our space to life! It was as if she took the picture from my brain and replicated it.
A special shout out and thank you to Corry and Hignight Florist! We went with them for our wedding flowers and I am still in awe of how beautiful they all turned out! We had flowers put on our arch and the chairs of the wedding aisle and then a beautiful pattern of white rose petals down the aisle. They were absolutely stunning! And I can’t leave out my wedding bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets and the boutonnières! I was going for a very classy traditional look with some pop of the different blues and she just nailed it. She understood everything we were looking for and had great suggestions when I could not figure something out. Just a pleasure to work with! And so reasonably priced! And everything came out just like we pictured! I highly recommend! The flowers were such a great quality as well that we were able to go out the next day and day after to place some of our flowers at our grandparents Cemetary plots. Thank you so much for making our special day that much more special!
