I received a bouquet of flowers via 1800 flowers for my birthday. the flowers I received looked nothing like the picture from the website. On the one hand I can understand if some of the flowers that were selected are currently out of season, however they was no adjustment made to accommodate what was asked for. Once the flower arrived to my location, the flowers were completely exposed to the elements, while we were currently in the middle of a snow storm. A lot of the flowers were dead and damaged. the flowers were so badly damaged and dead they did not even last over night. It was a complete waste of money… the person who ordered the flowers for me called and complained to 1800 flowers about this lack luster experience and was promised new flowers the next day ( today). The flowers were meant to be delivered to my job again which was promised to arrive by 5 pm tonight. I received a text from the driver at 5pm telling me he would arrive at 5:30pm. At that point I told the driver I did not want the order and I will be requesting a refund. Poor flower, poor customer service. A wast of money.
In The photo of the vase I have already removed and prepped the 5 orange roses. It’s my birthday. As a past floral designer I’ll admit, I see things that others don’t. I get very annoyed when florists stuff a cheap vase with 14 filler or low cost stems. Can’t be bothered to prepare the flowers. Floral arrangements especially those using bright orange roses are uplifting. When prepped and arranged they pop. What I received today was 5 short stem, unprepped (ie all the leaves left on and broken or damaged petals) orange roses, 2 broken and completely unopened unopened lilies, 6 sprays of salal aka lemon leaf, literally 1.00 stems were the majority of this vase, 4 unprepped mum stems and 4 carnations which I’m sure my husband did not know were in there. As I posses a loathing for these tacky without fragrance low cost stems. I know my husband, he’s not a cheap man. I will not be asking how much this set us back. As he will believe I am over the moon. But on behalf of floral design and the husband that pays premium for bargain stems, the wife that hasn’t received flowers in too long, I say how rude. The roses deserve an apology. When will florists learn that shoving a vase full of leaves, taking no care in preparing the few high cost blooms, and no concern for the finished product is the reason business has been slow. Worse still 2 of the 7 high cost blooms in the arrangement are not open at all, and due to cramped conditions 2 of the closed blooms were broken in transport. I’m disappointed but I’ll never let my husband know. I’m off to buy some flowers so that when he arrives home he will find a beautiful arrangement and will be proud of the gorgeous arrangement he sent. Update my husband carefully picked each flower and sent 100.00 on this. That’s theft! He ordered a large arraignment of lilies and roses all orange. He specifically said no carnations. So they just robbed him.
Received an arrangement and flowers were dying on the third day. The arrangement was replaced beautifully, now just hoping they last. The thought of sending a whole new arrangement at no charge was a nice touch. I appreciate the thought. Thank you.
The arrangement was beautiful. Sadly, it was delivered without any foil or paper around the arrangement in 20 degree weather, so within a day all the flowers were noticeably dead. Kinda basic mistake, a florist should know better.
I absolutely loved it! The arrangement was stunning, the flowers were incredibly fresh, and the combination was simply divine. Thank you
