I cannot say enough good things about Darlene as a person and as a florist. Darlene went above and beyond. She was so detailed, thoughtful, and kind. She not only provided incredibly beautiful flower displays but felt like a friend through the whole process. Everyone has asked where we got our flowers done because of her incredible work. Anytime I ever need flowers, I will come to Darlene because I know she is someone I can trust and who takes her work so seriously. You can tell this is more than a job to Darlene, it is a passion.

Darlene and her team at DLN Florist did an exceptional job for our daughter’s wedding at Fishermen’s Inn in Elburn, IL. From our first Zoom meeting through every call and email, Darlene was thoughtful, professional, and truly collaborative. She listened to our daughter's vision for a “rustic” formal barn wedding and incorporated her favorite flowers bringing it to life beautifully. Her flower and design suggestions perfectly complemented the venue and wedding party attire. She was also mindful of cost, repurposing arrangements from the ceremony for the reception. On the wedding day, Darlene and her assistant were attentive and flawlessly in command eliminating any stress related to the floral details. We felt completely confident in her care and couldn’t recommend DLN Florist more highly.

We absolutely loved having Darlene help us with florals for our wedding! She did an incredible job! I was blown away and we are still getting so many compliments about the florals. I cannot recommend Darlene enough! She was such a delight to work with and was incredibly positive and enthusiastic about all our ideas. I had only a vague idea about what I wanted for our wedding and with only a few Pinterest pictures, she created something that truly took my breath away! I was floored by how beautiful all our floral arrangements were and all our guests said they were some of the best-looking centerpieces they'd ever seen. Speaking of centerpieces, Darlene was so open-minded and welcoming of our unique additions. My husband's hobby is carnivorous plants and he wanted to incorporate pitcher plants into some of our centerpieces. We gave her the pitchers and she really ran with the idea! She even used some of the pitchers in our main arrangements in such a beautiful and subtle way. All our centerpieces had a cohesive look but still met (and exceeded!) our requests. I might have been a little apprehensive of the idea at first, but Darlene was excited and made such beautiful looks that those arrangements are now one of my favorite details. We live in a different state from where we held our wedding and Darlene was so easy to work with via Zoom, email, and phone. Out of all the people we looked into, she was the most responsive and affordable. I never had to worry about anything when working with Darlene and she'll be the first person I recommend when someone asks me for wedding recommendations. Thank you again, Darlene, for taking our half-formed ideas and making our wedding feel romantic, beautiful, and representative of our personalities!

My husband ordered flowers for Valentine's Day and DLN did a fantastic job. They are so beautiful and fresh. I am confident that they will stay beautiful for at least another week.
