Gillespie has been my go to for special occasions for over 10 years. Sure the grocery is nice in a pinch, but if you’re looking for that above and beyond look, Gillespie is your spot. The color and flower variety is unmatched. And I’ve always had a warm welcome every time I’ve gone in.
Today I stopped by for a “self-service” arrangement for home. I love being able to pick out flowers on my own, however, I had a bad experience with price and the lady picking all the leaves off my flowers. Some of my flowers she tore sections off and threw them on the floor (flowers I paid for). We have visited this place a few times and love going in. However, $31 is too much for a bouquet that costed around $12 the last time we visited.
I just had my niece’s baby shower. I was coming from NJ and needed two floral arrangements and flowers for the centerpieces. They were so helpful and sent me pictures. They made doing an out of state baby shower so easy. Everything was beautiful! Wish I had a florist near me like them!
They did an absolutely wonderful job. They flowers ordered looked nearly exactly as presented in website advertising. Plus, they sent me pictures of when the bouquet was finished and delivered flowers at a perfect time. I have ordered flowers maybe 100 times in my life and this was the best service I have ever received. I made a slight mistake on the sympathy card I included by forgetting to include my name and they caught that too. It was so nice dealing with a local, professional company who was so caring.
Exceeded expectations! Ordered a bouquet for delivery for my mother’s birthday from out of state. They went above and beyond and made it look SO stunning. Exactly like the photos on their website of what I asked for and more. I added 2 stems of irises to give a Van Gogh-like flair (since my mom and I love to go to art museums together) and I’m beyond thrilled with the results. The florist even sent me a photo of the final product before delivering it so I could see how it turned out. Delivery was prompt and the flowers were very well-cared for. My momma was over the moon! She sends me pictures of it daily! Thank you so much!
