Hy-Vee Floral

I was trying to go to the floral store that used to be across the street from Hyvee but was unaware they have closed down. I thought it would be okay to go to Hyvee but wish I would have went elsewhere. My mother is having her funeral on Sunday and we were trying to cover up a stain on the front of the dress she wanted to be in when she passed. With an Asian culture, I wanted to use a few distinct colors (yellow, white, blue). I am not the best at matching or familiar with flowers and just wanted it to look nice. The flowers are fine and I am indifferent to the pricing. What prompted me to write a review is the customer service. The person assisting me seemed not only to not have any suggestions to finding complimentary flowers for the small bouquet but put off the atmosphere of being an unwanted burden. When she was asking the main florist of suggestions, she seemed very short and annoyed as well. I understand it is Mother's Day weekend coming up and they are likely busy. I thought I was trying my best to be polite and patient as well as would not be needing the bouquet until two days out. I only completed the order due to the efforts the person assisting me had already put it but never again will I ever come back if I am needing any type of floral arrangement done.

The last time I ordered flowers here, I had them scheduled for an A.M. delivery. After the scheduled delivery past, ( into the P.M. hours )I had to call them to ask them where the order was. At this time I was told that they did not have the proper flowers yet, to create the arrangement. I placed the order 2 weeks in advance, there was no good reason that they should not have had the flowers ready and delivered. They were not apologetic about their mistake. I highly recommend shopping for flowers elsewhere.

Absolutely awful customer service from Harriet-yikes! Every interaction I have had with this girl she was so unapologetically rude! Will never order floral through hyvee again because of this experience.

Expensive

Awful. Ordered flowers two weeks ago, came to pick them up today and they couldn’t find my order. Then they find it but didn’t have my bouquet ready. The worker asked me if I was at the right store. (she was the one who took my order btw). I leave for thirty minutes so they can make it and come back to see the bouquet looked messy. the flowers look rushed and dead. The least they could’ve done was give me good roses and took their time with an order THEY screwed up but whatever. Should’ve asked for a refund. $75 for a bouquet and boutonnière by the way.
