The Green Thumbers

Green Thumbers made my wedding magical!! They completely captured what I wanted and my flowers were the prettiest part of the day. They met with us whenever we needed and adjusted prices multiple times for us adding and removing things. 10/10 customer service and 10/10 product. Thank you all so much!

From getting greeted opening the door, this place offered exceptionally friendly staff and very helpful. This is a well put together business and ran equally as well. We enjoyed our shopping experience very much

The Aroma coffee shop is the most amazing coffee shop in all of the Quad cities AND they have rewards. They also have fresh baked scones and muffins and they’re just a delight. I will never go to any other coffee shop in my area ever again plus who doesn’t love sleeping in, getting a delicious coffee and walking around looking at such beautiful plants all morning long 🫶 they are always fast and friendly and I am so glad I work nearby so I can grab my morning iced coffee in less than five minutes instead of the other places with super long lines inside and in the drive thru…I almost don’t want anyone to know how good the coffee is now it’s like my little secret garden with coffee lol 🥰

I originally stopped in because I wanted to check out the coffee shop. It was nice that Aroma was situated inside Green Thumbers because I'm also a major plant enthusiast. I think the olive oil and other gourmet foods they sell are nice. However, I think their plants are grossly expensive. They cost 4x as much as what I pay at home on the East Coast. Maybe they're more difficult to cultivate here, but I've been to other gardening stores in Iowa that sold the same things at a fraction of the price. I would like to say that the prices may be justified because the plants are high quality but I saw a lot of bruising, a lot of browning on leaves, and overall poor watering and soil quality. I've honestly never seen such simple house plants so expensive and yet lacking so much. Maybe it's an off-season. Maybe they're understaffed. I bought a purple Oxalis Triangularis and re-potted it immediately. It's bouncing back, but I think I would rather buy plants from Etsy and save Green Thumbers for a leisurely stroll. The whole facility is beautiful inside but they've really got to do something about their house plants. The staff is really helpful and welcoming, otherwise. That's a plus.

The Green Thumbers truly captured my vision for our wedding last week. There was a miscommunication in pricing when we originally booked with them, but everyone we worked with leading up to our wedding was very helpful with coming up with solutions in order to make sure our vision was carried through! I definitely would recommend them!
