Prices are better than Hannafords and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I bought some super nice Italian bread from their bakery section. A few months ago I rented a carpet cleaner from here and the people at the service desk were awesome.
Shows is the best! I prefer it over Hannaford. It has better deals. I tested it a few times to see because a lot of people were telling me. No Hannaford has better deals but I saved way more money at shaws. They have fresh of fruit in my eyes. Fresher, me and everything's just fresher. Everything is more organized and looks less messy and to me. Hannaford is a lot dirtier and general period unfortunately, I left closer to Hannah for those, I have to go there a little bit more often than Shaw's. But now that I just got a car back on the road shows it will be.
Love this place. Prices are good and you can find plenty of deals, easy to get in and out. Plus they have a Starbucks. Auburn maine.
I don't usually shop here because the prices are too high for my fixed income. Was gifted a $30 card so used it on a variety of frozen meals. Also got 4 honey stung chicken wings which were so dry and overcooked that I threw them out after taking a few bites from each one. Oh well, live and learn..
Did self checkout around 11am today, and the lady running it, I didn’t catch her name, was SOOOO rude and insulting. I entered my rewards and there was a glitch in the system, the coupon had to be manually entered. So I tried to explain that to her, I paid with my card and it wouldn’t take 4.00$ because of the coupon. So I called for help, and she comes flying over and I tried to explain the coupon thing, and it wouldn’t let me pay, she rudely said “DO YOU HAVE 4.00$ on your card” ……which in fact I do have far more than 4.00$ on my debit card, but 1. How dare you even make a comment like that so loudly and in front of people. 2. It is YOUR JOB to maintain self checkout if you don’t like that job I’m sure there are other jobs or positions that may suit you better. 3. It cost 0$ to be kind to anybody. At the end of all these afte this very rude lady slammed her cash register saying she will pay the 4$ and then it failing multiple times she had to enter the coupon manually like I said from the start before she was rude and insulting. I guess I will just take my grocery money other places.
