Oh my goodness, I’m not sure where to start with how much I love Midcoast Blooms! I had so many favorite aspects of my husband and I’s wedding day, but the florals seriously stood out as a huge favorite. Laura is incredible to work with, and I would recommend her to anyone needing florals for any type of event. She crafted EXACTLY what I was envisioning for our wedding day - all the soft purples and blues. It was so romantic and classic coastal Maine. The half ground arch/regular arch was stunning, the head table also stunning, bouquets…. Basically everything was perfect. Before I booked Laura, I couldn’t even get other florists to email back (probably due to the insanity that is 2022 and 2023 wedding seasons), and many florists in Maine had crazy high minimums before you could even book them. Laura was super about working within my budget. Her attention-to-detail was spot on. She worked with my cake baker for florals for the cake, was able to do greenery on my seating chart crazy last minute, and used the ceremony florals for the reception as a special surprise. It elevated the event so much! I can’t recommend/thank Laura enough for all of her hard work and attention to detail. Book her, you definitely won’t regret it! I plan and deliver weddings at a local Midcoast Maine wedding venue in Boothbay Harbor, and I have been working with Laura for 6 seasons now. We have collaborated on numerous weddings through the years, and as a fellow wedding vendor I hold her in the highest regard. She is always prompt, reliable, detail-oriented, and her florals bring the space to life like no other! So when it came time to plan my daughter's wedding, we both knew without a doubt that Laura had to be our florist! In fact, Laura was already booked on the Saturday date we were planning, so we moved the wedding to Sunday just so we could have Laura be a part of their wedding celebration! On the client end of things, we got to know Laura in a whole new way...her years of experience have led to a level of expertise that enables her to guide her clients through the design process to create a clear and thorough vision board with all the specific details. This enabled us to envision what the final result would look like! My daughter and I (like most average people planning a wedding) had NO IDEA what we even wanted when it came to florals... But Laura had an incredible way of listening to a few basic concepts we liked and then creating a color palette and whole design concept for the ceremony (along with gorgeous wooden stands made by her husband!), tablescapes, and re-purposing florals as well as incorporating candles and other decor to create an absolutely beautiful, cohesive look to the whole wedding celebration! Her attention to detail was phenomenal, including the cocktail tables and even creating a whole display with her own boxes and bud vases for our "In Memory Of" photos! With her help, we were able to create a whole color palette for the wedding flowers, other decorations and the bridal party clothing. She is amazing to work with, providing extensive, helpful suggestions regarding shapes, types of flowers, colors, vases, arbors, etc, etc, etc. All the while, leaving decisions to the bride and groom - as it should be. With her help, we were also able to identify other awesome local vendors for the special day. We were so very pleased with the final results from the rehearsal dinner floral arrangements, to the beautiful bouquets, wrist corsages, and boutonnieres to the venue table and other decorations, gorgeous arbor and aisle flowers. You will LOVE Laura's florals and the fantastic support she provides you throughout the planning process.

Laura did the floral design and arrangements for our wedding this past year, and we are so happy to have worked with her! It was a pleasure working with her even from the moment that we met - she is such a lovely person! After an initial phone call, we met in person where she had created a floral design board featuring many options to choose from, which was helpful because we didn't have a clear vision of what we wanted. It really helped us to envision what the flowers would look like on our wedding day. Looking back on the design board now, it was very accurate to how the flowers looked on the wedding day. Laura was extremely accommodating, and helped to bring my unique centerpieces to life - always sending updated photos on her vision and communicating throughout the process. We received so many compliments on our flowers and truly couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Thank you Laura!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Laura at Midcoast Blooms! She was by far one of the best vendors we had for our wedding. When I initially reached out to receive information about wedding flowers, she was prompt and suggested we have a phone call to get initial thoughts and ideas. From there, I began gathering my ideas and sent them over to Laura where she created an initial vision board. Throughout the year leading up to the wedding, she answered any and all emails & phone calls, we had a zoom meeting, and even a visit to her shop. Laura even incorporated my childhood rosary into my bridal bouquet. She travels to Boston to get her flowers and is so magical with putting arrangements together! Laura was so thorough throughout the whole process and she really knows her stuff! I was so beyond excited to see our visions come to life at the church, reception and for individual flowers. I highly recommend Laura for any and all floral needs!!
