O'Donal's Nursery

I've always gotten all of my starter plants and blueberry bushes from O'Donal's. They are hardy, have great yield, and the blueberry bushes come back year after year (the robins in my yard are certainly grateful). The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and the facility is beautiful. I could spend an entire day just walking the grounds.

Great place to purchase, educate the eye and/or learn from the staff. I moved to Portland in 2017 and since then have purchased at O’Donal’s Nursery several times. Always a great experience. They also have a quite diverse collection of bonsai for sale including some tropicals(“indoor” bonsai).

I bought $446. worth of shrubs last year all zone 4. All but one of them made it through the winter. I planted them according to their directions including buying the compost they suggested, and kept them well watered. I tried to return the dead plant today, but they wouldn't take it back, saying it was still alive. It doesn't have any new growth and is shriveling up. I'll shop elsewhere from now on. The plant on the right is still alive, the left plantis dead.

Incredible selection, beautiful, healthy plants, and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Excited to go again.

Bought a Dogwood tree last year that has died. "Not guaranteed". $189+tax. Gone. Apparently I should have asked about zones. Wish someone there had pointed out the "Not guaranteed"! My house comes up as zone 5 but I usually don't buy unless things say 4, just to be safe. I would not have taken the chance with this tree had I realized it was uncertain even in zone 5. Not happy. Ask questions!!!
